7,500. His performance against Goku makes him that strong. :cage2

But in all seriousness, Nappa was able to dodge and keep up with Goku after he calmed down, something he was totally unable to do before. He's below Goku, sure, but the second part of the fight doesn't suggest a massive gap in powers.

So you guys think a blast with BP of 2,800 can sting the arm of a fighter with the battle power in the 7000s then?

If the latter isn't using his full power, then sure. You think a guy in the 4,000s can fight nearly evenly with a guy who is 8,000+?

You think it makes more sense for Goku to say he would've been in trouble if an attack from someone half as strong hit him?

Nappa wasn't stated to have powered up at all, his better perfomance against Goku is attributed to his calmed mind.

Nappa's best technique could have easily been amplified, like Vegeta's Garlic Gun.

Amplifying power through attacks was something that was also foreign to the Saiyans. Just look at Vegeta's comment:

Vegeta: “Battle power 2,800...!!! So they really do drastically change their battle powers!!”

So just like suppression, raising their power drastically through techniques is something they're not accustomed to. Even Raditz said that.

Recoome isn't a Saiyan, completely irrelevant.

He hit Nappa multiple times and Nappa just bounced back from those hits.

I was talking about before Goku stated that Nappa is tough.
Jesus christ man, TOUGH DOESN'T MEAN STRONG, IT MEANS DURABLE.

Nappa calmed down and was still being mocked by Goku, that's not indicative of fairing good.

Everyone sensed Goku's huge Chi that was read at 5k by Vegeta.

Despite that, Krillin said: "That's insane!! Even for you! Their power is beyond imagination!!"

Nappa doesn't need to be weaker than initial Goku. Only Goku at full-power.

Explain how Goku actually having trouble dodging Nappa's attacks instead of just tanking them.

And also the fact that Goku had to use Kaioken to catch up to Nappa which common sense says that they are around the same speed or close.

Durability has nothing to do with those instances and if you are suggesting it is there is no point in debating this topic no more.

You take the whole mocking thing too seriously. Goku was at full power now the only thing he was holding back from was the kaioken. And he seemingly wasnt going easy in full power either he was putting effort into his hits.

They say it because 5000+ Goku easily dodged Nappa.

I know it was said Vegeta and Nappa couldn't alter their battle power on Earth, but it was also heavily implied Nappa used more power when fighting Goku. Goku noted the difference. What do you think of this?

I'm amazed about your ignorance when you claimed that you don't use Daizenshuu anymore but still using it to shove everyone's throat.

Kriss had a theory about Goku going back to his 5000 suppression to support Nappa's Daiz number. I don't think such a hypothesis is unreasonable,
i just don't see the reason to follow Daiz every single time.

I think he went to full-power. He told Goku he was going to show him what he could do before doing an extended power-up. What's the point of that if he wasn't bringing out all of his power?

Yeah, that makes no sense. Goku told Nappa he wasn't going to forgive him and started knocking him around. What reason would he have to suppress his power there?

Because Nappa wasn't phased from their brief beam struggle, due to being tough; durable, Goku states 'at this rate', which places special emphasis on the fact that Nappa wasn't hurt from their previous encounter and it was because of that, that he states that it 'looks like' it will take forever.

However, Vegeta immediately calls Nappa down directly after he uses his Ultimate attack. The suggested implication here is that Vegeta was banking on that, as was Nappa, but Goku countered it and falsely believed that it was possible that Nappa had more to give, Vegeta knew other-wise.

Except that's not what happens. I'm not going to argue the semantics of the tough comment, but vegeta clearly states that it would take forever with nappa AFTER his ultimate attack fails. He doesn't say oh you can't win because your ultimate attack failed, he just says it would take too long. The implication is that Nappa could win but vegeta was impatient.

Nappa's better performance is not attributed to any power up, but his calmed mind.

Nappa's power level being 4,000 makes the most sense and is further reinforced by the Daizenshuu
