You get the Toei dragon balls and can delete one arc of DB Super, but only one. I know it's hard.

Which one do you choose? I won't try to list them because idk them.

God of Destruction Beerus Saga
Universe 6 Saga
"Future" Trunks Saga
Tournament of Power Saga
Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga
Granolah the Survivor Saga/Moro

But you just listed them lol. Moro and Galactic Patrol are the same though.

Granolah seems to be the most pointless one since Super Hero ignores it altogether, so that. It’s also the worst one.

Has to be the Beerus shit, but only because it was Battle of Gods done worse.

The Moro arc definitely takes the cake. It created some pretty hilarious screencaps but it's among the worst in all of fiction.

Can't be serious :alex2

It's a literal DBZ rip off man. Not very different from, say, the RoF movie (Or even the Super 17 Saga minus plotholes), but better paced for obvious reasons. Your problem is Planet Moro making silly faces? Have you ever seen Cell?

Copying Z has nothing to do with feeling like Z. The Moro arc does absolutely nothing to capture the atmosphere of the original series. None of Super does aside from maybe the first half of the Future Trunks arc.

Well it's the closest Super ever got, with the rest being more comedic and tournament-based like OG was. FT Saga also leans more to the Z side, but I'd say the Future Trunks Saga was worse.

What I'm saying is, being a second tier rip off is better than the bullshit they'd done before. The anime had that terrible animation and the manga had Toyotaro in a hurry to get done with the Multiverse Saga and start telling his own stories.

I was gonna make a topic asking if any arc of Super is as good as the Buu arc, but I guess not. From the clips I've seen the Goku Black/Trunks stuff seems the best. The animation and voice for Vegeta saving Trunks was actually laugh-out-loud hilarious though.

Universe 6 Saga. They could have introduced all the elements that lead into the rest of the show piecemeal.

God of Destruction Beerus Saga, because it's literally pointless. Just a terrible and unnecessary adaptation of a movie.

I prefer the movies be adapted into the anime or manga, that way people know what's canon for what medium.

Fairly sure Beerus' presence in the anime starting with Champa Arc is a dead give away that the events of Battle of Gods are all canon. The anime and manga versions of this movie weren't necessary to get that point across. Proof being manga RoF wasn't even adapted.

It is fairly annoying how people have to speculate whether certain events are canon or not. Like people wondering if Base Goku vs Freeza happened in the manga.

No it means the anime and manga have distinct portrayals of the events they differ from Battle of Gods and RoF. The anime canon has Bulma's birthday party take place on a boat for example. Among other differences it means the battle of gods movie isn't interchangeable with the anime or manga. The events portrayed differ, therefore the canon events in each differ.

People who want to nerf bloat by having Goku use SSJG against 4th form Freeza for example.

Universe 6 Saga.

They could have better introduced the characters.

It may be so, but it doesn't change the fact these differences ultimately don't change the core of the plot at all. It's to the point you're not missing out on any context if you skip the first two arcs. Honestly, I see no compelling reason to keep these adaptations around.
