Punk Hazard was fairly creative. Law's backstory was great. The possible additions of Isshou and Jinbei have people frothing. It's not up to par by OP standards, but still nothing ridiculous like Bleach of FT levels.

Oh, definitely. I didn't talk too much about Punk Hazard but I liked it a fair bit more than Fishman Island. And although I called FI horrendous, most things post-TS aren't outright awful by any means.

Uh I think I'm lagging a few behind.

Kaido? I'm not current with OP, so I have no clue.

Either way, Kaido is one of the aspects of Part II that still give me hope.

The fact that OP hasn't devolved into an inconsistent mess full of wish fulfillment and a complete lack of foreshadowing still gives me hope. I'm reminded that the first ~100 or so chapters of One Piece aren't overly great or anything either. Granted, we're now nearly 200 chapters into the post-TS story, and it's not like at the very beginning where we'd yet to touch on the meat of the plot at all, but I'm sure OP will reach its former heights once more.

I absolutely loved Dressrosa. Maybe it's because I read it in marathon after a long break, but man that arc reminded me why One piece was great.

After trudging through arcs like fishman island and Punk hazard, I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever really like the series again.

Got up to the end of Usopp's arc tonight. I enjoy the earlier part of OP more with each reread.

Personally I actually enjoyed East Blue more on my first read through. I sill enjoy it though.

Man, even Krieg shouldn't be stupid enough to think he could kill Mihawk.

Krieg also got fucked in the early stage of the grand line with something like 1,000 men. He's a fuck.

Lol Krieg wouldn't even be able to stay conscious if someone used the King's Haki on him, he's a joke.

Having reread the fight, it really does seem as such. Literally as soon as Luffy broke through his protective armor he was out. I think he was only legitimately hit like twice before that, and one of those probably doesn't even count since that one just made a crack in his armor. Not that you can't use weapons or anything, but that's sad.
