It's interesting because he was already in kill mode before. AT was so good with his fight scenes, he kept them very realistic and although the need is to extend fights sometimes, he did it with such style.It could just mean that he was taking them more seriously now. He went from giving them a beat down to being about the kill them with a blast.
Raditz had already been done playing around in regards to his agenda, but only now is he done playing around in regards to his full power. Raditz showcased unseen speed that blows Piccolo away, indicating that a speed-up has occurred. Piccolo never expected Raditz to be able to dodge the attack.
Raditz (@ SBC) > Raditz (@ Kamehameha)
Just think, we know for certain Raditz didn't use his full speed to avoid the Kamehameha, or he'd have left it in the dust.
