So do you guys think the Straw Hats just escape at this point, or does more battling happen? They've made a big deal of this tea party thing, so I assume we'll still see that.

Considering Luffy's character, with him liking to see things through to the end, I doubt he'll just leave without a fight, a things haven't got as hopeless as they were on Sabaody. My guess is that Big Mom will grant the Straw Hats a pardon/temporary truce due to Sanji quelling her illness during the Wedding with his expert cooking skills.

I'm quite excited for the next several chapters. This will be hype.

Not exactly the best chapter in a while, but it was a good payoff and helped build up the climax of the arc.

Also, it may have been just for comic relief, but was anyone else distracted by how malnourished Luffy was at the start of the chapter compared to the end of the previous one?

He was malnourished like that at the end of the last chapter.

Still, him looking worse than Sanji did after being stranded on that island is pretty weird. 'Dat D. family metabolism is out of whack.

So Capone wants to take out Big Mom, and Jinbe seemingly supports this?

This is pretty much how everything has to happen at this point. Alliances between the worst generation to take out the Yonko. Luffy and him are probably going to disagree though. But i bet they'll at the very least not work against each other.

I'm assuming no one, and luffy causes the biggest disruption of power the world has seen.

Looks like there's a fair bit of feuding within Big Mom's family, seeing as how Praline and Chiffon are allied with Capone.

The part regarding Big Mom's history with Elbaf was fairly interesting. The fact they were feuding before the marriage arrangement says a lot for their history. It also helps hype up Elbaf, since it's status as the world's strongest nation and the implication it could avoid being subjugated by a Yonko suggests that most of the characters relevant in the Elbaf Arc could easily be Yonko Commander tier, with the best of Elbaf probably being Admiral/Yonko tier. I'm guessing from even Lola refusing to marry Loki, he's being set up as a nefarious character that could most likely be the antagonist of the Elbaf Arc. His name's connotation with trickery also implies that much like Wano likely being Zoro's spotlight arc, Usopp may actually be the MVP of the Elbaf Arc. Pretty nice foreshadowing/build up overall.
