That was a good chapter to me. Many ppl are speculating that this Sun God the slaves prayed to is de facto Joy Boy. He seemed to possess some monkey features in the silhoute we saw of him and he can be connected to the Monkey King Asian tale... maybe he's a distant ancestor of Luffy.

The way Jimbei defeated Who'sWho was kinda badass. We can see Jimbei is very moved and pissed about the subject. For sure he knows some more about this Sun God that may be Joy Boy.

The Sun pirates also had a sun tattooed in their chest, which can be connected to this Sun God Who'sWho talked about.

Chapter was decent. Was hinted that Franky might be able to steal Queen's technology after the war. Would be a decent power up for him. Hopefully the guy he was fighting is actually defeated.

Wtf is Yamato's devil fruit?

Why do they even bother waiting to fight in their hybrid forms till the very end.

Going back to the whole Gomu Gomu no mi being a special devil fruit all of a sudden, I'm starting to think there might be some foreshadowing to it before that. Isn't it kind of strange that Garp decided to transfer Luffy from Foosha Village to some backwater area in a forest with Dadan the mountain bandit? It seems like just like with Ace, he wanted to protect Luffy for some reason and that might be because he's a target for being the user of the Gomu Gomu no mi.

It's possible, though I doubt anyone would know that this random child in a small village was the owner of the fruit. Who was he living with in that village anyway? I don't think that was ever expanded on.

Depending on the purpose behind the Gomu Gomu no mi in the eyes of the WG, it’s not unlikely that they knew Shanks who stole the fruit was residing in East Blue for a long while and would give it to someone. How do we know for sure that CP-0 never paid a visit to the village while Luffy was with Dadan? We don’t.

Of course, there are a lot of questions like why nobody at Marineford mentioned anything about it when Luffy was there or why he wasn’t given a much higher bounty from the start. Hopefully those questions will get answered.

It's weird that they showed Jimbei's fight before Franky's fight when they generally show the weaker Straw Hats' fights first... unless Franky > Jimbei.

Definitely not. The order doesn't really matter in a huge war like this. We already saw the top tiers fighting anyway.

Jinbe will likely keep fighting after his win.

It matters to some extent since they didn't show Sanji's fight yet, nor Luffy's final heave at Kaido.

That's a rule that you've made up. There's no obligation for Oda to follow it. We haven't even seen the weakest of the straw hats win in 1 on 1 matches so your theory is already disproved.
