It isn't a learned ability, it's exclusive to a subset of people. So it is likely genetic.

So do we think Shiryu is even close to Garp's level? He stabbed him and seemingly took Garp's punch pretty well. Still, he used cheap tactics and wasn't fighting alone.

I really don't think so. The man was taking advantage of his blindspots and still got folded to the ground. A little disappointing considering he’s supposed to be Zoro’s future opponent.

Also, skimmed through this recent Garp vs Aokiji fight. It's absolutely insane how this old man is performing despite being way past his peak. Really speaks on how strong his prime self was.

I guess it does make sense when WB was still stronger than the top admiral with half of his head blown off. I guess Garp could have probably killed Akainu during Marineford if he wasn't restrained.

I honestly think the BB pirates aren’t shit except for Teach and Kuzan. The only one we saw fight a 1v1 is Burgess and he wasn’t impressive.

I don’t think I’d go that far, but if we’re talking pure Haki wise? He is clearly dominating in that regard compared to Aokiji.

Even the Admirals didn't directly engage the Emperors. I expect the fight to not have a definitive conclusion or be basically a draw.
