Goku: “Nah, I don’t know…When it comes to Majin Boo’s strength, it’s like a lie…I think that I probably couldn’t have won…” he warned us. :idk

At least Boo gets to actually do shit instead of avoiding every conflict that arises due to needing his beauty sleep at the most convenient times. I'm happy.

And it's completely contrived, it reminds me of what Toyo did with Roshi in the ToP. It's also confusing too considering Toyo has shown with the Future Trunks arc that he can handle side characters having a role in the plot more gracefully than this.

UI Roshi was a perfect example of an asspull and defamation on Goku's characterization but to compare that to Boo is an over exaggeration. Future Trunks literally accomplished nothing in his own arc mind you besides having a healing ability that he somehow never knew he had, other than that he was just there. The ''Goku and Vegeta show'' is way more prominent in the manga than in the anime and Toyo finally had the balls to diverge from that.

Boo has the upper hand against Moro because he's immune to his absorbtion ability so his attacks don't have much of an affect, I honestly don't see anything contrived about that. Unless your referring to Boo suddenly gaining Dai Kaioshins memories through some therapist or whatever which was pretty retarded.

Yeah you're right there, but I only compared the two as they're both contrived.

I was referring to :shin

Yeah, now that you point it out it is pretty contrived that the Galactic patrol are also master hypnotists. :giraffe

I guess my issues with Boo showing up is that there should've been build up to it, instead of it just happening immediately.

Boo's power up is still highly contrived, given how his Z self wasn't able to just reach levels above SSG tier from getting mad. Out of the contrived power ups in Super, however, it's probably the least offensive in terms of consistency, especially when having such things as Piccolo suddenly reaching Post-God SSJ tier or the humans becoming capable enough to dodge Magetta's attacks at a similar speed to how Gohan and Piccolo did. At least with Boo, previous material built up the fact that his potential for growth is easily the greatest in the cast, not to mention it helps make Goku wanting to abandon everything to train Oob more believable without assuming he gets nerfed by the end of Super.

Boo straight up jumped through that wall of planetary ki that gave SSJG Vegeta trouble. There's no question he was asininely haxd here.

Guess that confirms Boo's going to get nerfed after this arc. Can't have anyone else be relevant other than Galu and Vegeta for long. :facepalm

Dai Kaioshin will either have to be sealed back within Boo or removed entirely. In either case, Boo's power would take a dive when his recent buff was purely due to unlocking Dai Kaioshin's memories and utilising his rage.

Dai Kaioshin wasn't out of Boo's body. He just chose to appear as Dai Kaioshin... They were still kinda sharing the body.

Changing his appearance to that of Dai Kaioshin's serves no real purpose for anyone if it's only temporary and to have this identity crisis fit in with the EoZ, Dai Kaioshin would have to either return to being dormant inside Boo or split off as a separate entity. Whether it be in power or development, Boo is going to have a regression of some kind.
