It fits with Goku saying either they or Boo would win the 28th tourney.

He was not.

Why wouldn't he be? Even with a fraction of Kid Boo's power he would be monstrous.

I am not following your line of reasoning, my child.

Boo managed to hold his own against Kid Boo for some time. I thought at first his power diminished but that wasn't the case.

That just shows Base Goku/Vegeta simply got that strong by the EoZ. Goku also says Oob was exactly who he thought he'd be, which would be a bit of a jump to conclusions if Oob wasn't close to Pure Boo's power. He also cites Goten not keeping up his training as a reason Boo would beat him, and nothing suggests they'd dropped the "no SSJs" rule at the Budokai.

Goku saying that someone aside from "us or Boo" may win makes it apparent that Boo definitely isn't leagues above the rest of the competitors, not to mention him making it apparent to Satan that one of them may make it to the final round beforehand.

I interpret it differently. Pure Boo just wasn't trying hard enough at first. :sponge

Yeah, but he had to be around SSJ2 or more for him to not get wiped out in a single hit. :sponge

Boo did transform into that one guy in the magazine (who was later recycled in a Super filler).

Cranberry uses the explanation of once being an elite Freeza Force member, despite such soldiers having been jokes to the Namekian farmers. 'Member when Namekians were treat as powerful warriors within space? Apparently Toyo doesn't. Also, doubling down on ray guns being a big deal I see. :troll2

I'll admit Boo creating multiple hands to multitask whilst fighting Moro was creative and clever. Too bad Tracetaro had to rip off DIO's Road Roller Mudamudamuda from JoJo Part 3 whilst doing so.

It seems predictable that Moro's last wish will have been immunity to Dai Kaioshin's technique. Either that, or he'll switch from a Piccolo Daimao ripoff to a Zamasu ripoff by wishing for immortality. Also, it really seems pointless for Goku to exclaim in shock that Moro would kill his own ally. The guy standing next to him did the exact same a long time ago to an ally he'd known since childhood and Saiyan Arc Vegeta is far from the first or highest on the scale of megalomaniac villains. :facepalm

Dai Kaioshin can just switch places with Boo? So, no identity crisis on two people sharing the same body or Dai Kaioshin wanting to continue his duties. Once Moro is beaten, the former top of U7's godly chain of command just wants to go back to sitting in a pod for eternity. :alex2

Isn't the elite part precisely the explanation for him managing to defeat them?

I don't see how Dai Kaioshi switching places with Boo leads to Dai Kaioshin going back to his non-existent state.

It could if assuming the unnamed soldiers Freeza brought to Namek weren't elite (which seems counter-productive to his cause and raises the question of why the Saiyans were treat as a great warrior race when :troll recently started citing Raditz as an elite warrior, but that's a whole other can of worms), which can fit with the Daizenshuu describing Appule as a low level warrior.
Still, everything about him doesn't fit with being an elite warrior whatsoever. He doesn't show any Ki abilities, relying purely on his tech, which was a common thing for the lowest ranking scouts in Freeza's army.

I don't see how Dai Kaioshi switching places with Boo leads to Dai Kaioshin going back to his non-existent state.
He stated he was only resurfacing for a while, so he'd have to go back to being dormant inside Boo afterwards, unless Boo is going to be turned into the new Lunch. :troll

Well, that'd be weird whether Cranberry was elite or not. Elite space warriors >> some elite Saiyajins :troll :troll

He'd be taking the surface, that is, switching places with Boo...but Boo could still have access to Dai Kaioshin's memory once he goes back to the inside of Boo's body.

He could. The question is, would that fit with how he's portrayed at the EoZ? I'd say not as whilst his appearance there was limited, his mannerisms and speech seemed far more self-centred and simplistic respectively than the more eloquent nature he had in this chapter. Unless Super will retcon the 28th TB even further, Boo going through character regression is the only real option.
