The movie showed #17 and #18 as well as Gero. Why not include #16? I get not showing #19 since he would've been destroyed by that point, but #16 should've been included if he was part of that scenario?

So that means the statement of Super 13 being the strongest android means he is above #16?

Piccolo did nothing to Super Android 13. All he could do is make tiny shock waves. Super Android 13's tank on Piccolo is more impressive than Semi Cell's tank on Android 16.

Foregone conclusion there in terms of feats. Whether we should ignore that in favor of the movie's prologue, perhaps we let that die on its own.

1) Cell was damaged by Piccolo's Light Grenade. We don't know exactly how it went down. The attack clearly moved him greatly. Cell is under water after all.

2) Super Android 13's tank on Piccolo is significantly superior to Semi Cell's tank on Android 16. Many see that gap as 40-50%. Piccolo being only 30% of SA13, could very well give SA13 the lead over Android 16.

3) The movie literally states that SA13 is the mightiest Android. Ye who is so quick to jump on the guidebook's statement with no context, yet not take this literal evidence right in front of you is appalling. Good day.

16 is able to move Cell's head back a bit. Piccolo does absolutely nothing to SA13 and he attacks with a complete barrage of punches, only capable of causing vibrations.

Whenever this topic would come up, I always swore by the guide statement back in the day. But now, I feel as though the statement should only be about the Androids we actually saw. In canon, Androids #9-15 ended up being failures, though #13-15 were close to being finished. This is what's stated in the Android history chart.

I feel like anything pertaining to #16 would be based on that alone, mainly since #13 doesn't exist in that continuity. Naturally #16 wouldn't be compared to an Android that doesn't exist--especially one that can only be created (Super #13) under very specific conditions. That's just how I see it.

Anyone holding so much weight onto the guidebook statement is foolish imo, especially coming from non guidebook types. It's madness. Never seen people bible thump harder for one statement for people in our circles than this statement.

Meanwhile, the completely canon (to the character) statement declaring SA13 the king of all androids? Nope. Not a peep. No one brings it up. Ever. Seriously, I can't be the first person who's seen this. It's quite ridiculous that others aren't talking about it.

As you can see by KP's post, Semi Cell's head moves back every so slightly and his face actually gets crushed in a little bit. SA13 has no such effects and gives us our first Broly type tank, SA13 is a brick wall and the rest are feeble children. We only see mere vibrations from SA13.

It shouldn't be. It's from D7, which usually includes everybody unless otherwise specified.

Yeah. I tend to think the canon character bios are only pertaining to the main story rather than a hypothetical one where non-canon characters exist.

Basically, canon-wise, #13-15 were scrapped and don't exist. I feel like #16's superiority doesn't need to exist in both continuities.

Movie 7 Super Android 13! states:

SA13 was created to be the strongest android.


So I guess we both have a statement now. Looks like the statements are nullified and comes down to personal choice and opinion. I for one do feel the movie's statement holds more weight for sure.
