Yeah I think the "me too" just means Goku won't hold back against Jackie, it's just the type of "be careful, I won't hold back". It doesn't necessarily means he wasn't giving his all before IMO.

Jackie fearing losing to Goku just confirms Namu being up there with them (but still one step behind) IMO.

Like maybe Goku defeated Nam with an impressive manoeuvre? Master-Roshi was really, really worried at the end when Goku did defeat him, before that he was also kind-of worried but not to the extent he was at the end. If Nam was a match for Goku, then wouldn't he already be that worried about having to face either of them since he knows what they're capable of?

Or maybe I'm misremembering (for real). I don't know what I'm talking about.

Not sure. He could be in awe of techniques and such for sure, but the actual fighting I'm not sure.

Well, Kuririn had a re-action to Yamcha vs Tenshinhan. Yet Kurrin's level wasn't that different to Yamcha.

He said they were both incredible or some thing like that, IIRC. So he was also talking about their power and performance.

I don't think it has to be.

For example Chapa-o vs Goku was much less impressive than Yamcha vs Tenshinhan, yet Yamcha isn't implied to be that much higher than Chapa-o. There's also Kuririn vs Chaozu which also didn't seem as impressive, despite Kurirn being around the same power as Yamcha's.
