I'm at the final volume of the Cell Arc. Pretty much the only thing stopping me from reading that too is that I'm a lazy fat fuck.

Cell isn't as good as Saiyajin or Freeza, but I will say in spite of the BS, I underestimated it. I actually prefer it over Arcs like Pilaf and the 23rd now that I've finally read it for myself. I'll list the reasons why I think that way once I finish the Manga and post my breakdown of it too.

I finally completed Cell. I'll be the first to admit that in spite of its flaws, I was too hard on it before I actually read it myself.

The Manga and the Anime's not even remotely comparable.

Not only does the Anime have bullshit filler all over the place, it also lacks the fundamental logic from the Manga. That's probably why DBZ "fans" are so misinformed.

I just realized I forgot to post my thoughts on the Boo Saga since I finished the Manga a week after getting banned here.

I actually enjoyed the Great Saiyaman portion because it was under a volume long and was just enough to show us how everything changed after the Cell Games without so much meaningless filler in it.

The set up for the 25th was great, but all the hype it had just wasn't delivered in Babidi's Ship. I would say these two parts of the Saga are both easily the worst.

The actual Boo portion of the Saga got better and better as time went on, but was still nothing compared to the build up the Freeza Saga and the Cell Saga both had.

I liked the endings we got at both the Kid Boo fight and the End Of Z. Both endings seemed like conclusive ways to end the Manga.

Finally, the power chains. The power chains were a complete mess in the early Boo Saga like the Base Saiyans > Piccolo, and the late Boo Saga power chains were ridiculous in scaling like Super Boo being a thousand times stronger than SSJ3 Goku. You don't see this bullshit anywhere else in the story.
