He could also see Freeza's beams and saved Gohan from one while he couldn't tell where Freeza went when he tried attack him.

Because he thought he was SSj and nothing can top that.

Does Piccolo and others think that Vegeta can win?

I completed Volume 27. Technically the end of the Freeza Arc. Anyway...

The Freeza Arc was actually well done. Quite a bit superior to Saiyan and Piccolo Daimao actually. I loved the three way battle for the Dragon Balls in the beginning and the alliance with Vegeta against the Ginyu Force and Freeza. The fight with Goku VS Freeza was great too. Not my personal favorite though, but it comes real close, with that being Goku VS Vegeta during the Saiyan Arc. I'll leave this Manga on hold because I don't have as much incentive to read Cell and Boo... Especially considering they're both close to Red Ribbon tier in quality and I left Dragon Ball on hold for months after Goku defeated Staff Officer Black.

I'll post an analysis of Dragon Ball and all the Arcs once I finish the Manga too.

28 only has a few chapters of Cell with the first few devoted to Freeza's defeat on Namek so you might as well read that.

Yeah but the speed increase isn't mentioned by Viz, only be Herms.

Herms is a more accurate translator than Viz. Viz is actually inaccurate sometimes, but at least they don't make the Manga unreadable like Funimation does with the Anime.

I think it's time I read the Cell Arc. I didn't have that much incentive since Freeza is easily the best in the series and after that the series goes downhill. I'm reading the first volume tonight though.

The series really didn't go downhill after the Freeza saga imo. The Cell saga was still pretty good.

I'm on volume 15/31. Piccolo just fused with Kami and Cell arrived. Now the real battle begins.

I'm at the Volume where Goku and Gohan fight Cell. After I finish the Cell Arc, I'll post a BP list and not include the Boo Arc. This doesn't mean I won't make an Arc list for it in the future, but there are too many inconsistencies in Babidi's Ship. I might even make a list ignoring scouter numbers later.
