That I'm not really sure of. I'd say that's a fair guess since I don't think the Funimation service was pulling in many subscribers. I do still find it strange since Funimation as a brand has been around much longer and had its own weight as a brand.

It's a shame because I think that movie looks very good overall and much better than M8, but for that one shot, for like five seconds, they just reuse his LSSJ transformation and and take me out of the whole movie. Can't even watch it because I know that one moment comic.

The whole next chapter is dedicated to more Bardock vs Gas, who's now in his previously seen Berserk form. The Bardock wank is getting out of hand.

It's bad enough to rewrite but at least show us l0l. They just cut it out I presume and Bardock looks like he got his ass kicked offscreen in like four seconds. I like the movie overall but that part triggers my autism. The only other thing that does it is when they reused Broly animation for M10.
