I think you misunderstood. SSjin Gotenks Pre is in the same level of SSjin 3 Goku. That would make Base Gotenks really weak going by the 50x multiplier. Also, 10x gap is more than enough for Gohan to be stronger than Goku even if we go by his potential.

I know there is no reason for the multiplier to be different while fused, but it just can't work with 5px for Gotenks. I know Toriyama wasn't thinking about multipliers, and likely worked with A > B formula, but still, for it to work out, let's just use the 50x multiplier. Let's says SSjin...

No because Kaioken x20 Goku was rivaling 50% Freeza, while SSjin Goku wasn't much stronger than 100% Freeza. So math.

Where is it even stated Goku used Kaioken x2? He didn't in the anike, and the color manga doesn't show him using it.
