It looked like a decent generic battle shounen to me (and I've seen enough of those), but tbf it seems a bit unique with how the MC is kind of a bad guy, so maybe I was wrong. And damn, you actually know someone offline who likes anime. I've not met one of those for like 4 years.
The first fully serious arc (Benizakura) is at ep 58, so that could be a good thing to slowly aim for. Personally my fave serious one was the Shinsengumi Crisis Arc 101 mark, but a lot of people online prefer the later serious arcs (eg Yoshiwara in Flames, some pretty rough fights for Gintoki...
Physical power would double if you doubled your speed, but in DBZ how much is physical power and how much is due to ki output? Maybe normally the speed and power increase in proportion with the ki increase, but if you're keeping your ki the same you can sacrifice some of the power for speed...
Wtf did I just read in that chapter?
If it's not gomu gomu no mi, wonder if the real gomu gomu no mi will turn up. The in-universe photobook with the fruits in has it as being the gomu gomu though.
Luffy spat in Hiluluk's face, saying when you die only your body is left.
Oh, yeh many sequels take a turn for the worst. In a lot of cases the series should have ended already or sometimes the author might burn out, plus the longer it goes on the harder it is to keep the plot together, to juggle all the different characters and the ending phases of the story are...
They banned me because they thought my username referred to Kid Trunks. I got my revenge by making an official zetaboardsranger request to sell off the forum. Regret :(
Damn, that was well-made. Better than Super. Nice music and sense of intensity and the script feels like a real episode. I smiled a lot at the 3:50ish mark of Part 2. I wonder how they did it. Did they use voice clips from the anime? What about the animation? There was one bit showing Goku's...
What you asking? Which ones I'd like a sequel for?
I'd say Serial Experiments Lain's spinoff will be popular, maybe the most watched of all time. AKA real life when VR takes over.
Otherwise I'd be interested in a Death Note sequel I suppose, but I'm not desperate for one. It could be...
Think so. The announced cast so far are from Mexico (Luffy), the USA (Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Alvida, Buggy, Arlong), the UK (Sanji, Shanks, Garp), Australia (Coby) and I think South Africa (Helmeppo).
Live action Bebop was supposedly decent, although in the end it was disappointing. It was in the top 20 for a little while, even here where nobody born before 1995 cares about anime.
There are load of other good live action anime based séries, but they're dramas rather than action. I am a Hero...
I was genuinely hoping they would finish the arc without reviving him lol. I was more focused on Gohan being cool, the tournament and wanted Babidi to just get fucked up. Nowadays I would know the villain's revival is inevitable.
I wasn't disappointed by Buu, just by Gohan not obliterating him...
