Just learned that "Manzai" is a typical style of Japanese comedy, with roots in the Heian period (around 1000 years ago), but the modern form took off in the 1930s. This is a double act with a "funny man" (boke) and "straight man" (tsukkomi). Often the boke acts stupid or clueless and the...
Android 8 is brought back to life after the Earth (GOAT planet btw) is destroyed. He's shown in DB Super and in the Z anime.
But Android 16 couldn't be brought back to life, because he wasn't made from a human. Plothole? Or did Shenron lie? Fucking snake.
Goku did it because Chi Chi wanted a driving husband. How did Piccolo get dragged into it? Lmao.
And the Postboy shirt is from Goku's wardrobe. But I don't remember him ever wearing clothes similar to that.
Also apparently there's a chapter cover where Goku is teaching Piccolo how to drive? Fuck.
Goku uses kamehameha to fly in DB. Even in DBZ, he uses it to quickly move himself during the fight (iirc against ape Vegeta).
Is Goku the only one to do this? I could see others not using it, since many of them learnt to fly at a younger age than Goku did.
He never used it on Dodoria/Zarbon/Ginyu Force, Freeza, the androids, Cell or Buu. But Goku and even Gohan and Krillin use kamehameha against many opponents. Vegeta said GG is just like the kamehameha. So why not use it?
why
Didn't find a topic about this. Why's he think he's faster than Freeza? Is the gap between him and 3rd Form that small he thinks his disproportionally high speed from being unweighted is enough to still be quicker than Freeza? Is he just panicked? Is it Nail's influence? Does Piccolo not...
Can he clothes beam armour onto himself? What about clothes beaming heavy clothes onto his opponent? He could have clothes beamed a 1000kg hyperrealistic VR helmet onto Freeza's head, since Freeza can't sense ki.
Especially for those who've read the manga, what changes would you like? Are there changes Toei made that you'd like Wit to undo? Or scenes that you think should have been animated differently?
The only obvious change I can think of is how Zeff loses his leg. Surprisingly the Netflix LA used...
I was thinking about how strong Gohan would be if he'd trained between Cell and the Buu Saga and then was wondering if he'd be limited by not having strong enough training partners or access to a gravity machine.
So how do you rank these training methods, for increasing power level? I'm not...
He wasn't worried about Cell at Korin's because of Gohan. He even gave Cell a senzu after wearing him down a bit.
Did he know ssj2 existed? And if yes, did he expect Gohan to access it? Even though he and Vegeta both were unable to find it and were much more experienced with ki and ssj than...
1. Murder
2. Fraudulent corporate dealings
3. Cheating
4. Political corruption
5. Figuring out wtf a neighbour is doing to make noise
Who solves them all quickest?
I read a few chapters a decade ago and just thought the kid was a fucking brat. I often come across people praising it though, like 2 minutes ago on the internet somewhere.
Samurai 7 - Seven Samurai, The Last Samurai
One Piece - Pirates of the Carribean
Baccano - Godfather
Dance Dance Danseur - Footloose
Yuri on Ice - Blades of Glory
Aoashi - Bend it Like Beckham
Bocchi the Rock - School of Rock
DBZ (worst con of them all) - Back to the Future, Superman, ET...
Looking on google images from Z/Super, that's the impression I get.
Looking at just the face, Gogeta's face here looks just like Vegeta's, if you ignore the hair (bigger image):
Vegito's face sometimes looks like a new character (eg in the Buu Saga, although sometimes he looks like Gohan)...
