When he fought Goku, he was doing pretty well and able to hold hismself against Goku. But he powered up, I thought they can't supress their power unless they can hold it back at very least. How come he power up if he can't supress his power?

When Fat Boo was divided into two Boo, it was also stated that Evil Boo has majority of Fat Boo's power. My question is, which version of Fat Boo? The one who fought Goku or the enrage Fat Boo.
