Honestly, just spamming the r2 button while in a combo usually works half the time for me. Though it’s actually really easy to figure out the timing when they appear behind you after they do a knock back.

Yeah nah don’t sweat it. One hour of play is a very short time lol. Also never forget to use perception and revenge counter in a tight spot. Defensive play is a requirement in this game if you wanna get good.
