Hm I agree, but it's still 5 top tiers vs 3 top tiers. And Houken is a problem but he's not unkillable. Still think it's close though. Shin/Ouhon/Mouten can always cause upsets too.

I think it makes complete sense. Monster has such a good setup and intrigue in it's plot and characters, imagine if that was all resolved in a haphazard and lackluster way. It would be difficult to reread those sections when you know all the seeds that the author planted to keep the reader...

@SSJ2 If a series that has been mostly good but ends up having a really bad ending, would that negate your prior enjoyment of the story? For me it kind of does.
