The examiner is the only inconsistency. Even if it wasn't planned out at the beginning, being able to use instances prior to make it seem like it has always existed is good writing in my book. However, he definitely planned it at the end of the Hunter Exam arc with Illumi's Ren.

His moment of lifting up or stopping the island from falling which was anticipated for a long time was done in 2 quick panels. I was extremely disappointed and it annoyed me how he's now being treated like a man worthy of the Shogun title.

Haki shown in chapter 1 and mentioned in Jaya. Nen at least is creative and has some foreshadowing in 1st arc even if only retroactively.

Haven't read the later parts yet but I think putting original universe JoJo on such a pedestal is crazy. I think Part 4 and 5 was where the story actually became really good, but it's no Ennies Lobby or Chimera Ant arc lol. For me it's the characters, gags, and fights that keep me watching.
