When it comes to Freeza, I think it's more about the fact that his name just has so much importance attached it. He was the universe's warlord that awakened the Super Saiyan. No matter how far they've come, being able to defeat Freeza will always be considered a big deal.

This just reminded me of Sorbet shitting himself with excitement when he realized Sorbet (who he knew sparred with Freeza) surpassed the Ginyu Force. He stated this right after mentioning Shisami as the strongest in Freeza's army who'll defeat the Earth's warriors.

Because Base Saiyans are obviously weaker than 100% Freeza, I guess...

But the kids could fight evenly with Gohan much better than Dabra when he fought Gohan hand to hand...

The Anime implies that Gohan got stronger rather getting stabbed by Spopovitch and Yamu, and Goten only matched high school Gohan.

But isn't Pure Boo as strong as him? He could just turn Super Saiyan 3 and knock it away with a Kamehameha, unless the blast was charged. I don't remember Boo charging thast blast.

It would must mean Kid Buu > Ssj3 Goku. Combat-wise they're equal with Goku having a slight advantage due to having superior skills and abilities, and Dragon Ball Forever says they're equal. However, it's unknown when they charge their Ki to their absolute max. Kid Buu is still arguably more powerful than Ssj3 Goku overall

In multiple ways. One is to argue that Base Saiyans > Kaioshin and Kaioshin is around Cell Saga Goku based on El Manga Legendario guide, and another is to argue that Base Vegeta (utterly suppressed) > Pui Pui > Grade 2 Ssj Vegeta post ROSAT and engage a possibility

Multipliers have nothing to do with this if Base Saiyans are proven to be "that" powerful since a Saiyan's Base is the basis of their power since Super Saiyan forms are only stacked
