Does anyone else think it's kind of cool that the Saiyan King's grandson is the one who ended up killing Freeza? I never really thought it about it like that until I saw a thread on Neoseeker about Freeza never realizing Vegeta's son is the one who killed him.

Why didn't Gohan ask Piccolo to wear a disguise in the 25th Budokai? I mean, he was at the Cell Games too, and Gohan wanted to avoid attention...

Gohan probably thought that he wouldn't agree to it. Piccolo found Gohan's disguise to be absurd.

I found it kind of interesting that the teaser of Broly had a sort of SS4 quality about him. Then when his character sheet was revealed, and the new trailer, he has a powered up base form that has hair reminiscent of SS4. Which got me thinking, Berserk Broly and SS4 have a lot in common in that they were both an attempt at a sort of unofficial explanation of the Super Saiyan of legend. Broly, of course, was literally described as the Saiyan of legend in his debut movie and in GT, in order to attain SS4, you had to become golden oozaru, which is obviously a nod to the golden ape in Vegeta's telling of the legend in the anime. I have also heard in the past SS4 described as the true super saiyan form( I don't remember where), but then in super during the ToP, Vegeta describes Kale's berserk form as maybe being a Saiyan's true form which reminded me of SS4.

Anyway just thought that was interesting and maybe Broly in the new movie could lead to the canonization of SS4

Well characteristic no, of course I am not saying they are the exact same forms just that there is a striking resemblance in what they mean as super saiyan forms with regards to the lore of Dragonball. You could say that golden oozaru is berserk like which is an omen of SS4. Another similarity is that they are both offshoots of super saiyan or they are on a different path of super Saiyan than the linear golden forms. Clearly, there isn't a discernable pattern, but mere interesting coincidences which is what I am pointing out. I mean come on, look at your avatar, that looks like a ss4 and that form has always been seen as a "primal" or "animal-like" form, which wouldn't be too much of a stretch to describe broly.

Another way you can look at it is, golden forms and the god forms are a sort of stepping away from the caveman-esque saiyan while ss4 and legendary berserk are more towards the essence of a Saiyan.

Does the Genki Dama uses Goku's own energy too? Or does it only takes donations from other beings?

So we know he has to use his Chi to create it, but I don't think that's the same as him adding his own energy to it. Probably not.

Probably the effort in creating the attack. Goku has to do a lot just to form the Genki-Dama. I'm not sure if that's exactly the same as adding his own energy to the attack. It seems like Goku's own power only became a factor when he had to fully unleash the attack (Kid Boo and Jiren) with additional force behind it.

Physical strength would be the more appropriate way to describe the force. E.g. (@ Kid Buu) when Goku got his strength back and went Super Saiyan, the bomb didn't get any bigger, it was just a war of muscular exertion.

I doubt it.

If someone like Vegeta can resist it, I doubt it'd work on someone like Boo. There'd also be no point of him constantly threatening to seal Boo away if he could've just took control of him. Or he most likely never thought of the idea at all.

Probably not.

If he could, why not at least attempt it as a last-ditch effort before getting killed? Wouldn't put it past a coward like Babidi to try something like this if there was a fair chance it could work.

Doesn't he need to verbally cast the spell to possesss someone? Boo was holding him by the throat with the purpose of not leting him cast the spell that would seal him, so he wouldn't be able to possess him either.

Wasn't it implied he only resisted t because of his love for his family? I doubt Boo would be able to resist it.
