I think a lot of people prefer the idea of Goku and Kid Boo being >Gohan and Gotenks because it'd give more validity to the final battle. I can understand that logic. The Boo saga just seems like one of those times where the winner wasn't the strongest.

Doubtful. As forgetful as Toriyama is, I doubt he'd forget something he bothered to point out twice just weeks prior to the chapter where Boo diffused.

Most likely, Boo's body that provides him with virtually infinite stamina allows him to negate SS3's stamina problems.

Goku: “Is that alright? You just might not get your turn…I can say this now, but the truth is that with that fat Boo, I would have been able to defeat him at the time with Super Saiyan 3…However, I wanted the young guys to manage something…For the Earth’s sake too…”

Wtf is up with this quote? Was Goku not intending to use SSJ3 against Pure Boo?

Not a chance. Only with ssj3 could goku hope to stand a chance against buu so he intended to use it from the start. Warming up or anthing like that is impossible as we have seen how dangerous buu is

He probably want to test Boo's power as SSjin2 then saved SS3 for later if its needed. Just shows how Goku underestimating Boo.

I doubt it.Goku should already know that he is going to get bloodied as a ssj2 if he couldn't deflect his ball from destroying earth

His response makes no fucking sense to me. After this he starts talking about how he could've killed Fat Boo for no reason. Just some audience exposition.

But yeah, the smug he throws when he asks if Vegeta's sure can imply he's being sarcastic. That's unusual for him, though.

To be fair, the Dragon Ball version of Earth has anthropomorphic animals walking around everywhere (one of which even being the King of Earth) and humans with three eyes or no nose, so Kami isn't exactly too out of place on the planet.
