I thought I did that already, but it just gave me the story where you fight him on Earth and then fight Freeza and co. on Earth. I guess I need to beat him faster.

Just knock him away, then spam ultimates while pressing L2+X(on PS5) to dodge him constantly. That's how I beat most of the time limit fights.

Going to buy this on Friday. Does the What If shit unlock anything for the main game or is it just for fun? If you get shit for it I might just bang out a good bit of those before I do the story mode.

Also I like how they give use unique what if characters for the story but not as playable lol. Makes no sense

Based on the game's files, it's fair to say it wasn't completely finished. I imagine those what-if characters will be made playable at a later date.

did anyone suffer the file corruption glitch? I don't completely turn off my PS5 when I stop playing for this reason, I just put it into rest mode.

I don't play on console, but if anyone does I'd suggest copying your save into cloud storage if that's a thing on the Ps5, like with the Ps4.

I hear that doesn't help either. the save file corrupts regardless.
