Who'd want to pay to watch a mediocre movie like this?

Actual Toriyama/Funimation/Dragon Ball/Anime supporters.

Toriyama can kiss my ass, he makes 200 times the money I do and still commits tax fraud. Toei creates garbage all across the board except for a few anime here and there and Funimation just wants a piece of the DBS pie.

That being said, if the movie was good I might consider watching it in theaters, but it's just a shoddy mix of the Bardock special, Fusion Reborn and the original Broly film. Complete with erroneous birth dates, Freeza and Bardock suddenly changing appearances and Broly jumping several dozen tiers just because he's the main villain.

I hate movie theaters so I watched online and I'll probably pick up the Blu Ray on sale whenever it comes out.

I actually don't really dislike the movie until the fighting begins. Freeza's initial appearance is a bit strange, but the stuff on planet Vegeta isn't that bad. I'm not a Minus fan, but I onew that would be in the film and I thought the film presented ot better than the manga. There is some really nice animation for the fight, but I just can't get passed Broly screaming like a lunatic constantly after they just showed us that HE DOES have some personality on Freeza's ship. He clearly questioned how Paragus treated him and he showed sentimental attachment to that fur thing. Throw all of that out the window when the fight starts.

Idk but I think it came from Trunks rage form from anime where he went enraged and since it was similar to Broly so there you go.

I just finished watching it & I have to say I like Z-Broly more.

Z-Broly's insanity & just flat out hatred of Goku which made Z-Broly more fearsome & threatening.
Didn't like how Super turned him innocent & good person, that was just Blah but understandable since he's already outclass by Angels, GodsOfDestruction, etc.

The thing I don't like about Z Broly is that what was his reason against Goku? They don't have any history other than that Goku disturbed him while he was sleeping hence why Broly gets a lot of hate.
