Probably, but it still isn't very reasonable. Whoever killed Yamoshi makes way more sense.Spiral-Force said:Likely due to the theme of Saiyan history tying into this film.Flame said:Idk why people even thought it'd be Yamoshi before we knew it was Broly.
Yeah. Even taking into account the Saiyan history theme, Yamoshi's hair resembles that of Vegeta from what we saw of the flashback in the Battle of Gods film, which is quite different from the new Broly's hair.Flame said:Probably, but it still isn't very reasonable. According to Toriyama, Super Saiyan Yamoshi's defeat to the evil Saiyans was only the beginning of his legend. He is the same as the Super Saiyan God, in a sense. The "in a sense" part could mean: it's the same guy, but just in different forms [SSJ and SSJG] at different periods of time, rather than it creating a seperation between two Saiyans.Future Warrior said:That wasn't Yamoshi.

You left out an important part of the quote when you attempted to paraphrase. "Yamoshi's spirit wandered in continuous search of six righteous-hearted Saiyans, seeking a new saviour" This means that the 6 Saiyans seeked a new saviour, not Yamoshi. The reason why they seeked a new one is because they thought Yamoshi was completely gone, which turned out not to be the case. From what we saw of BoG, the original Super Saiyan God looks spiritual in design, which correlates to Yamoshi who was a wandering spirit. If it was a different Saiyan that was used for the ascension to Saiyan God, then logically, they would have a solid physical presense, like SSJG Goku.Future Warrior said:He's a SSJG figuratively speaking, hence the ''in a sense'' part. ''Yamoshi's spirit wanders in finding a new savior: SSJG'', so we can deduce that such a being didn't exist before or during his existence, and somewhat gives the implication that his spirit is what allows the transformation to be possible.

The wording of his short answer in the first line seems a bit ambiguous, but the explanation I provided makes sense and is based purely on the info we've been given. So... yeah.Future Warrior said:That's one way to interpret it I guess, not that I agree with it though. The way AT words it is kinda vague anyway.
