Well Toei did say on their website that Jiren had power on par with a GoD and I doubt they were talking about his suppressed level so it was pretty much a given that Goku wasn't going to be in a whole different tier than Beerus.

Not surprised it took this long for Jiren and Galu to surpass Beerus, given most official sources stating Jiren is in the same league as the Hakaishin would mean Jiren shouldn't surpass Beerus by leaps and bounds at full power. At least it finally ends the debate of how Initial Jiren compares and gives a good idea of where to place characters such as SSBE Vegeta and Hakaishin Toppo.

Then again, you could say it's due to Beerus' pride in the same way as Trunks not wanting to admit there was a fair amount of difference in Gotenks and Gohan's power.

I think BSSJB Vegeta and Toppo could still be Hakaishin tier just not Beerus level. Like they could beat Sidra, Rumusshi or Helles but lose to Beerus, Chappa or Belmod. This aligns with the manga where Beerus and Quitela were shown to be the strongest during the Hakaishin battle royale.

AT is not the one writing the story anymore. He basically comes-up with the basic story and scenarios, so how do you know how good AT is now? Toyotaro is like the screen-play writer with supervision by AT (who approves) so what do you got to say?
