So apparently the story will revolve around the origin of the Saiyans and will feature a bunch of Saiyan characters. Toriyama is heavily involved in the script and character designs.

It's set to release December of 2018.

So will this movie be set in the past or are they going to do some time-travel/wish granting shenanigans to bring the Saiyans to the present time-line? If it's the former the chances of Goku or anyone-else being there are low, but that seems unlikely considering how I doubt they'd want to make a movie without being able to promote Goku. Besides if Goku isn't even on the poster or trailer, some people might not even care to see that.

They'll probably put out an incorrect trailer showing SSJ White Ultra Instinct Vegetto fighting potara fused Zeno, only for the film to be about that Yamoshi cancer.

Yeah, that worked for the TV-Specials, but this is going to be presumably aired in theatres, so they're going to definitely think promotion and stuff first.
