I thought Namek was said to have 3 stars? I only see 2, although the larger star looks fantastic. Very cool setting.

Is there any benefit to resurrecting dead enemies or should I just keep wishing for Z Orbs and rare items.

The sub-stories involving them offer a great amount of EXP, even if you're very over-levelled (I did the one against Level 32 or so Zarbon as post-Cell Game Gohan and still got 100k EXP from both battles), so reviving dead enemies should be your priority from wishes. You also get their soul emblems this way.

Yea after getting through 1 full arc, there is no way that Super would be able to fit into this game.
Can confirm as someone who's completed the game, Super stands no chance of inclusion even as DLC. There's too many things that stop it from fitting in such as the Pilaf gang appearing as young as their Part 1 selves even by the Cell/Boo Arcs, Trunks travelling back to the past post-Boo Arc or Freeza being revived and staying revived without a golden asspull.
It's like the game gives a big middle finger to Super and I love it for that.

So the game's going to fit Super content in whilst outright contradicting it? Not as though Super stays consistent with itself anyway :troll

I imagine if they are going to add Super content, it'll be done by presenting it as an alternate timeline, which could work when considering Mira and Towa's role in Kakarot's post-game.

That is only a leak at this point. I'll believe it when it's confirmed. Super would feel completely out of place in a game of this style and it would be a mistake to shoehorn it in. There is no reason to have an open world with exploration elements when Super doesn't even have a coherent story. The U6 tournament, the future arc, and the ToP would not fit in. Sadly the Moro arc is the only one I could see working due to the amount of training that has been going on, but nobody wants that cancer.

I do think Super-based sub-quests could work, but not a main story. Shame, considering the multiverse opens a whole lot of potential for open world exploration if Toriyama bothered to fully flesh out the other universes.
Also, major story DLC would be difficult to pull off due to the levelling system. Unless they increase the level cap, it would be difficult to make it work in an RPG if someone who's grinded enough can oneshot a lot of the new bosses, considering the gap between the strongest major boss (Level 100 Mira, or the Level 200 rematch with Villanous Vegetto/Gotenks) and the level cap of 250.

I feel like making a thread collecting all the added bits of new and interesting lore introduced by Kakarot, and how well they fit into the main series. Just figuring out how it'll be set up.

Make a thread where your first post will be the organized collection of information, and any post following it can be brainstorming ideas to add to the post. Chronological order.

I was thinking more along the lines of adding posts daily (or when I feel like it I should I say) that contain the added individual bits of information, and just giving my thoughts on it along with other posters. The information would continuously be added to the first post to serve as sort of a databook.

Yes exactly. If you make the thread I'll sticky it in this section.

Man why was Dodoria so weak. I think he landed 2 attacks on me while I was Gohan.

It's to match the series, basically, considering it was a pretty short exchange there. The Vegeta VS Dodoria battle is a lot more challenging.

So Monster Zarbon 1 shots Vegeta and the fight gets skipped? I find that a little odd.

They also skipped Trunks vs. Cell entirely while putting in something as weird as base Galu vs. Semi Cell in the game. Strange to say the least.

The stupid driving thing could have been optional, feels like I just wasted my time since I’m never gonna drive a car when I can fly.

If you want to get as much EXP as you can from sub-stories, you'll need a car and bipedal walker for the Boo Arc sub-story entitled "The Great ladiesman".

Going back to the point about Super DLC, I don't believe the leaked files would prove anything just now. As an example, take the Shonen Jump game J-Stars Victory VS having files for the movesets of Jotaro and DIO from JoJo, yet neither character was in the game and it got no DLC. You could make the argument that Kakarot is far less niche, but even more mainstream games such as the Pokemon franchise can have files in them that are never brought to fruition. Moreover, it seems strange that Vegeta's SSG and SSB forms would be part of the DLC files rather than Goku's. For now, I'd say Super DLC in the files was likely more of a test for a potential idea that was left on the cutting room floor.

Monster Zarbon was probably the most difficult fight yet, but it still did not feel overly challenging. Finally playing as Goku again and about to challenge the Ginyu Force.
