Who is Yamamoto? I thought Kikuchi made the ost?

Kikuchi did most of the score for Z, but Yamamoto composed Solid State Scouter (Bardock's theme) and Battle Point Unlimited (the track that plays when Trunks goes SSJ against Mecha Freeza). Yamamoto's the guy who did the ost for the Budokai games, Burst Limit, Raging Blast 2 and Kai.

Going to get further into the Android Saga today. I’m approaching Gero’s Gate :alex

I lolled when Gero was initially introduced. He looked borderline black lol

Yeah he looked dumb lol. Last I played Cell absorbed 17 and I stopped right before Goku and Gohan went into the ROSAT.

i def.'d have liked some of the variety of matches db-xenoverse had tho.

like protecting partner or something (jst less frustrating where the partner doesn't get 1-shotted the 1st sec. in) & also hiding the dragonballs as vegeta or something like that

i think there's also potential for a variety of more mini-games, like maybe make something like yajirobe cutting-off vegeta's tail in the game, where he can't get noticed & u have some kind-of time-limit or else game-over

I would still one shot you then. When you become powerful enough to destroy Gero’s Gate then you’ll earn my respect.

I've gotten to the point where Vegeta/Trunks exit the RoSaT. I'm curious to see how the Grade forms are used considering I didn't see them in the skill tree.

Grade 2 is pretty made made exclusive to the battles against Cell and functions pretty much the same as regular SSJ. Grade 3...is just skipped over entirely :troll

Just to add another disappointment I had with the game, we never get to play through the many training moments the characters went through in the series. I really thought we would be able to do Kaio's training, gravity room x100 on the way to Namek, extensive sparring with other characters, and maybe even the afterlife (the closest we get is Vegeta's training room, which is fine on its own, but I feel more could have been done with it instead of just fighting past enemies on a generic wasteland). The story skips ahead and just feeds you EXP, giving us little control over our character levels. Sure, the side quests do give substantial bonuses despite not being required, but they're all pretty simple to do and your overall progress wont be much different from other people if they do the same. You play as Gohan and the others throughout the Saiyan and Namek arcs for a long while, constantly leveling them up after each battle, and then Goku comes out nowhere and is now by far your strongest playable character despite not having much gameplay with him previously. My point is that I want my progress to feel earned and not be spoon fed just so I can compete with the constant escalation of power.

As for the side quests themselves, while I enjoy them for providing new stories and development for characters, there is valid criticism in saying that the vast majority of them simply revolve around fighting robots or aliens and collecting things with no variation to it.

Played around in the Cell Arc intermission, upgraded the Dragon Balls so now I’m collecting them again just to see what’s the difference is. Dende said they’d be on par with Namek’s balls so hopefully we get 3 wishes now so I can get these rematches over with.

You assume correct. You can get 3 wishes after the upgrade, making doing all the rematch sub-stories far easier.

Captain Cadaver I'm in the Cell intermission now. Is there anything related to trophies that must be done at this point? I already have the trophy for summoning Shenron 10 times. I've kind of gotten to the point with this game where I just want to finish the story. It's getting repetitive.

Nothing too integral. I'd advise doing all sub-stories and doing whatever villain revivals you have left once you upgrade the Dragon Balls to make 3 wishes, as well as some of the Villainous battles around the world for that additional EXP. Other than that, there's nothing else essential beyond progressing on some of the more accumulative trophies you may have left such as the Kaio telepathic calls and such.
