All-though, still since the manga in-general is shorter relatively speaking they might not be all that much different.

Just more dominant in the manga? In the anime he struggled at times.

Yeah in the manga the closest Zamasu came to landing a hit was grabbing Vegetto's legs, although he didn't get that giant hulk arm and the power up that seemingly came with it.

Yeah, Vegetto owned Zamas in the manga because Toyotaro evidently can put 2 and 2 together, unlike :toei :toei :toei . If both fusees before were lower than the components of the opposing fusion then how the fack do they make a fusion that fights almost on-par with the other fusion?

Even-though you can always think of excuses and stuff like saying, maybe Zamas got a bigger power-up because he was a Kaio-Shin or technically two Zamas fusing together.

Just when I think it can't get any worse, we get this make a wish episode. I remember when Kaio-sama was a very important character, and even when his power was obsolete, he was well respected in the ranks of the show.

But now he's a complete joke. Just bring him back to life and go back to advising Goku in battle. It's an absolute disgrace what's become of Kaio-sama. Shenron is portrayed as a total bitch too, and I'm embarrassed for the franchise and its fans.

Some BS with Beerus and Whis gettting food. Wasting this wish on Pan-chan. Like Capsul Corp doesn't have medicine? Goku has 100 million zeni himself. Redunkulous. Worst episode since the FnF saga and the writers deserve to be strung up like Mussolini for queefing out this garbage.

These episodes are all pretty much filler except maybe Goku vs. Hit anyway.

Episode 21: This is an Arale episode and I'm already going to rate it as :trash . Skipping this shit for the next one.

This makes her canon right, if she wasn't before? Why not invite her to the ToP. :troll

Episode 22: Beerus and Whis dick around on the phone.

A baseball match between the gang. Yamucha should actually shine here but I am sure in the end :troll will only serve to desecrate the corps that lay rotting of his once interesting character.

Seeing a bit more of Champa was okay I guess. Goku going SSJB to play baseball is just the stupidest thing ever and kind of undercuts the form. He's already way strong in base.

Of course Yamucha ends up on his head like a dweeb. Not as bad as Kaio's desecration, but sill. This whole episode is a bloody miscarriage and cringe from top to bottom, not even worth of disgusted meme status. Vegeta would never play baseball. At this point the show is only giving Yamucha a win in order to humiliate him further after being cucked by Vegeta once again. So I don't even care at this point.

This is not the Future Trunks Saga thread anymore. :shc :shc :shc

Yamcha defeated Vegeta, you can't take that away from him.

Episode 23:

Might as well keep this going, so that the entirety of my soul can be sucked out rather than just a small portion.

Looks like there's something going on with Hit and Goku right off the bat. Good, I guess, since I actually like hit better than Zamasu. This might be interesting. From the way this episode starts off, we are seeing a future event and then flashing back to present time, meaning Christopher Nolan was a guest director for this week.

Goku is acting unusually solemn, even when he eats. Then he begins sensing everything going on around the house. Mmmkay.

Vegeta training with Whis. Good.I like Vegeta getting gainz. They cut away as he is about to go all out on Whis. :wtf

Back to Goku acting weird, focusing his senses. I'm guessing he is paranoid about Hit for some reason. Later on, he states that someone is coming for his life. He just knows this. Cut to Hit, so I guess this all ties together then. Hit really just looks like Cooler if he stole a coat from The Matrix.

This little side story with Hit is one of the more visually interesting things in Super so far. With the Neon Tokyo look of the planet, plus the big boss who has all these goods dressed in suits and Bane masks, it reminds me a lot of more traditional anime settings. Things like Akira, Ghost in the Shell, et etera. Anyway, Hit muscles his way through this Watto dude and kills him. Hit then reveals he is targeting Goku next.

Goku goes out to seemingly the same place he fought Vegeta to find Hit. He goes Blue right away. Hit appears right behind Goku and they banter. Hit uses a new technique to dodge the attacks, stuns Goku without moving, and then Goku drops to the ground in base, lifeless.

Episode 24: Ohhh, a two part episode.

Piccolo and some others arrive on scene, while Piccolo tries his ki revive technique to bring Goku back. A ball of energy comes down and hits Goku, bringing him back to life. Goku is now looking to get even with HIt.

Hit then begins to communicate to while remaining hidden.

Goku claims to have figured out how hit killed him in one move and goes on the hunt. He learns that Hit was once the pupil of The Last Cuck Luck Skywalker and can make projections of himself.

They continue to fight. Goku can now counter Hit's ghost punches or whatever they are. A little while later, it seems Hit has the advantage as he drops Goku out of Blue. Goku comments that Hit is way stronger than at the tournament.

Back with Whis, Vegeta continues sweating it to the oldies. He tries to bargain reps for food and wins out. Am I to believe that Vegeta's grandmother had a secret sauce???

Champa and Vados have been watching the Goku/Hit battle. Hit is using bullshit time skips and whatnot to attack, they explain. Beerus, Whis and Vegeta show up to add commentary. Vegeta rates the fight a 3 out of 10 and is unimpressed. Turns out Goku hired hit so he could have a good challenge. :kenshi

This fight was okay, but these guys are suppose to be galaxy/universe level, and that is hard to take seriously when the whole fight was contained to one little cliffside. I'd agree with Vegeta about the rating.

Episode 25:

Largely :trash filler, piddling around with Jaco. Then to Gohan/Satan on Earth. There's really nothing I hate more that Satan episodes. He's a good character in the right spot but I don't like him taking up whole filler spots. Some bullshit about filming a Saiyaman movie.

I stand corrected. The only thing worse than Satan episodes are the ones with Saiyaman crap sprinkled in. Then Jaco comes back and gets involved. Wtf am I watching...

Episode 26:

Awww, man this shit is still going on? FUCK!
Ql1dV_s-200x150.gif

Jaco and Saiyaman have to stop this shit, I guess. It's some evil parasite they are trying to destroy. But not the cool kind like Baby. This is just absolute cringe.

This guy playing Saiyaman is a total dick, so you know he's going to get infected.

This happends, and he becomes full blown Evil-Man. Eventually he takes Pan. Insert poop joke. Evi-Man goes Oozaru and fights. Really, Gohan should one-shot this mofo, so I see it as a waste of time. God, Gohan is so constantly presented as :trash . He needs Pan and Videl to help him turn SSJ.

An AIDS worth episode once again.

Episode 27:

This appears to be going in the direction of Goku and Krillin training together. Nostalgia episode? Either way, I smell potential if this doesn't go fully autistic.

First we see Goku and Gohan spar. This is a welcomed sight, and it's amazing how rare it really is considering Gohan is his son. Doesn't last long but a nice little battle. :alex

We then cut to Krillin in a shoot out looking like he's in a Lethal Weapon movie, even going so far as to mention some terrible things about the Jews. Damn, Toriyama, don't you think you're taking things too far trying to get away with this?

Anyway, Goku shows up and they decide to train together after Krillin gets some convincing. They quickly breeze over the fact that bullets hurt Krillin now, despite years of tanking machine gun fine from Lunch. I miss Lunch.

They decide to fly to see Master Roshi, asking to be retrained by him. Roshi agrees to show Krillin the ways of the Force. They do a little fighti session on the beach, but Krillin barely keeps up.

Pretty kewl seeing Krillin motivated again though.

Later on, they meet Baba in a haunted forest. Villains of the past start to rise up, including Cell, Buu, Vegeta and others.

Episode 28: Continued from the last episode.

Hey, I even see Tambourine in the group! Goku and Krillin decide to fight back, and we get a newly animated flashback of when Tambourine killed him. Cool. Krillin goes on to freeze as he remembers all the times he was killed, but Goku steps in and saves the day.

Turns out a KHH fixes the situation rather easily. Krillin is momentarily disappointed at himself because of the cowardice he showed and flies away, but they are both trapped by the magical trees and the ghosts of Christmas past return again. This whole thing is very weird, including Goku needing SSJ3 to using these apparitions.

Eventually they realize that the only way to win is to let go of fear, so they both pass the test. I guess Krillin gets a power boost from this? Roshi says he "rises above himself." No complaints on this episode overall. More of a throwback to old Dragon Ball, and Krillin deserved some screen time. As the strongest human I like seeing him get a power boost here and there.
