I want to create a realistic transition from the Freeza Saga to the Androids Saga. It seems suggested that Piccolo is probably 75% of Vegeta in the Androids Saga. It seems like this type of gap is probably present in their respective Base and Suppressed states.

I don't like the idea of Piccolo closing the gap only to have it reopened. Although you could suggest that it is Vegeta's Super Saiyans form that Piccolo is only inferior to, I get the feeling it would be the same way should he remain in Base. If AT decided to keep 19 and 20 as the main villains I suspect Base Vegeta > Piccolo would have been the case.

So all in all, I'm looking for a smooth transition encompassing all factors here. I have Piccolo gaining massive strength compared to his Namek self and greatly surpassing Vegeta's Namek power. Make sense?

One thing you need to remember is that there are a million options, my choices do not have to be your choices nor are they necessarily right or wrong. 75% is basic right and wrong stuff and the other 25% is very subjective. There is a lot of leeway, feel free to think for yourself and go with your gut, not just follow what someone else's gut says.

I might change it to 7 million though. Depends on how I feel at the time.

Great p. This seems about right. You have Piccolo at 66% of Vegeta rather than 75% though.

Yea it would be showing the transition.

From 50% on Namek to 66% on Earth and then 75% after Androids training.

It is tough though, I'm kind of inclined to make Piccolo 7 million now that you brought it up haha. I'll have to think about it.

7,000,000 would fit pretty well too IMO. I like to think that it's the moment where the two are closer to each other. Though it's tough. Voice_Of_Reason brought a good point on neoseeker for Vegeta being still considerably ahead of Piccolo. According to him :

Piccolo doesn't claim he can beat Vegeta, he was responding to Vegeta's snide remark insinuating he was a weakling. It's a contrast from his reaction when Vegeta insulted his power on Namek; Piccolo was able to keep a cool head back then because he knew he was stronger than Vegeta in spite of it. Being belittled by someone who is stronger than him though would obviously hurt his pride a lot more.

It seems when Vegeta dismisses Piccolo when he is severely outmatched, Piccolo just has to take it on the chin. When Piccolo is stronger, he doesn't feel the need to respond back, Vegeta is a suicidal maniac let him bitch how he wants.

This is the only time Piccolo really gets angry with Vegeta, and then Goku asking whether it was Piccolo or Vegeta who beat Freeza then Piccolo taking the role of telling everyone what the deal was so confidently.

It could go either way.

There are many options choose one.

Goku only asked because it could have only been Vegeta or Piccolo that killed Freeza. There's no way Gohan or the humans did it.

Why not Gohan? Gohan had a superior power to Piccolo just a couple years ago.

Because he did not when Goku last saw him.

Goku was paying attention very closely throughout the whole battle. He's literally sitting in the tank healing and concentrating on the battle, following their ki.

Yeah, what SS said. Piccolo was one of the two strongest at the time of Goku's inquiry, by a noticeable amount if he only figured for those two.

Yeah but even Gohan's rage boosts never amounted to a level of power higher than Piccolo's, not counting his Masenko of course.

So Goku sensed their current power?
Unlikely, as he thought that Vegeta or Piccolo could have beaten a power above 140,000,000 (going by Daizenshuu shit).

Where did I say it didn't? It's not like Gohan can become enraged on command. Base Gohan </< Piccolo.

The huge power appeared and disappeared pretty quickly. Goku was simply asking the two strongest at the time, assuming they had suppressed themselves most likely.

Fair enough, just funny how Gohan isn't an option considering Gohan greatly surpassed both of them at times just a little while back. Dat lack of training doe

It's an option but it wouldn't be his first guess. He's not thinking that hard about it is all.

Nah, not in this context. They were all suppressed.
