Piccolo (Post-RoSaT) > 50% MSSJ Goku?

Everyone's power matters here dude. We are literally debating suppression power on a reg.

The bottom line is, Piccolo is somewhere in the vicinity of 50% Goku. Period. How far behind, ahead, is up to interpretation of the viewer.

Cell doesn't even mention Piccolo, when he talks about the characters which have improved and could figh him. Only Vegeta and Trunks.

Cell appeared to assume Vegeta and Trunks got stronger, if anything. Trunks did tell him how they improved so quickly. He also ignored Gohan and laughed at the idea of him being a challenger when he was mentioned.

From a writing-perspective you can easily tell why Gohan was left unmentioned. He had never been in that position in the story before, where he was clearly (and for an extended period of time, so no rage-boost) the highest character. The others had been at one point or another. Gohan also wasn't really at full-power when he was just watching the fight between Goku and Cell.

That's why I also for the longest time thought Piccolo is still below Semi-Perfect Cell. He didn't think anyone could ever get there. I think that along with Piccolo's apparent irrelevancy at the Cell-Games, I see no reason for him to have reached the level he said he never thought could be reached. Also Vegeta scoffed at Piccolo after Piccolo came-out of the RoSaT as if he just wasted his time in there (he basically did say there was no point in Piccolo entering the RoSaT). He certainly didn't treat him with as much reverence as 50% Goku. Even after RoSaT, Goku was still Vegeta's goal to surpass. Just my opinion.
