This?

Doesn't even have 7 on MAL and the woman's character design looks. Is that hairstyle a wolf cut? Not sure, but if it is it's not a good one. weird. Tbf the back isn't really that long compared to the hair on the side...idk what you'd call it, but it looks bad. https://myanimelist.net/anime/1079/Armitage_III

edit: idk why I posted the link twice
Yeah, I don't know myself. It's interesting though (maybe). It's from the same writer who wrote Serial-Experiments-Lain soooooooo...Either-way your choice.

Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning - 3.5~4/10

I walked into this movie having high expectations for its action scenes given that it was said by the producers that it had a bigger budget for action scenes than Last Evolution Kizuna did, only to be largely disappointed. The entire first half to 75% of the movie consists essentially of one large exposition scene and while somewhat understandably due to their lack of Digimon partners, the original generation of Digidestined are essentially reduced to one cameo from Taichi and one mention of Koshiro which kind of blows with the limited scale of action scenes that are in the movie. Additionally I could see from a mile away that Angewomon would get cucked in favor of Silphymon, but after they tossed new Agumon/Gabumon and Omegamon variants like candy in the previous flicks/entries in the franchise like tri. and LEK, it's honestly disappointing to not see any new evolutions from the 02 cast, not even Silphymon and Shakkoumon's Mega forms which would've made the action scenes less boring.

The animation is otherwise quite good (albeit, the sleek 2.5D evolution sequences look a little wooden/like video games) and while predictable, Lui's character development is at least fleshed out. It's not enough to save the movie though, and considering that we STILL haven't seen Agumon and the others return to Taichi and co., I can bet we'll get yet another Adventure movie announced by next year under the pretense of tying up loose ends. *sigh*

Finally finished Smashed and Soichi, both by Junji Ito. His art is impeccable. His stories are creative and fucked up. Probably my favourite active mangaka.

Detective Conan the Movie 26: Black Iron Submarine - 8/10

Great movie, would recommend to anyone who dabbles in or obsesses over the Detective Conan franchise. The only real downside is that the villain is a one-off character as well as
the faggoty lesbian kiss at the end as well as the forced happy ending with Naomi's dad surviving
but other than that it's great, plenty of twists and more or less internally consistent which is hard to accomplish in today's isekai/harem/Demon Slayer-ridden anime climate.

Detective Conan: Tengoku e no Countdown - 9/10

Well deserving of its praise as the greatest of the Conan movie series. Will rewatch Beika no Bourei soon.

Steins;Gate

A truly amazing anime mostly. I truuuuuuuuuuuly liked that. Is this like the only anime (or series ever) where the opening (& ED IIRC) is actually made for the series in every way? Lyrics & all. They even changed the lyrics for like the last 2 or so episodes, but same song (like same instrumental just different lyrics). Okabe is a gr9 protagonist.
(except where he accidentally stabbed & killed
really kewl. & even all other characters are gr9. I didn’t know what to think-of Mayuushi at-first but eventually I thought was kewl as-well. I really was confused in the last 2 episodes, because it seemed like a new arc was going to start for a sec. lol.

Initially this series reminded me of Higurashi a-lot, but seemed to go-down as that went-on.

Mamoru Miyano as Okabe was 100% perfect & so were the other cast-members. Christina’s (fufufu) too. When they cried it actually sounded like really crying.

Daru talking to his daughter like a pervert fufufu.

That woman who couldn’t socialise in real-life was truly scary. Voice-acting included, when Okabe ripped the phone off of her & tried to keep the door closed so she doesn’t come-out. Really sounded like she might kill him if she gets out (can’t say it any-other way). She sounded insaaaaaaaane.

Might have to watch 0. Maybe I’m forgetting some-thing-else.

@Fantastische Hure I just finished the anime. It was just as good as I remembered it being, I’m glad I had forgotten many of the details since watching it. Gonna watch the episode 25 special and then will probably watch the movie and the new anime. I had no idea there was a movie or a sequel.

The sequel is like a mid-quel-(ish). I’m currently watching as-well. Just watched episode 14. Did you see the Okabe from the future who told the Okabe from the present how to do things? It’s told in that time-line.

That sounds intriguing. So it's basically telling the events as they originally happened? Did you watch the movie?

I haven’t watched the movie yet, since I did hear it’s non-canon but it happens after the series any-way I think I think, and yeah it is essentially the original events but It’s still very interesting even if you know the eventual out-come I think.

Also just to add, non-canon to the LN that is. I did hear that the makers of the anime were still there for the movie & the anime was over-seen & also made by a few of the creators.

Yakyuu de Sensou suru Isekai de Chou Koukou-kyuu Ace ga Jakushou Kokka wo Sukuu you desu.

8/10, art's a bit too horny but still enjoyable regardless.

Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside

9/10. One arc felt a bit too long, but good regardless.

Shamo: 5/10

Pretty disturbing story at times. Part 1 was done pretty well IMO. It felt like a hybrid of Ashita no Joe and Berserk, where the main character went through similar parallels seen in Berserk and became a fighter. He became pure evil after everything that happened to him which was interesting to see his development. He basically became a Black Swordsman arc Guts but possibly more disturbed. The story completely derailed in part 2 though and became absolute trash.

I would of liked more of it (It ends where the game, The Witches House begins)

Other than that its peak
