I was sure Who’s Who was still ready to fight after getting punched in the face, yet here we are. So very possible that Queen is done now.

Still, even if the fight is done now I think overall it was good. Tobbiroppo were god awful in comparison.

Yeah I would've preferred seeing Sanji have a tougher time but oh well. He did have some difficulties but then his body pretty well made him immune to serious damage. Not a huge fan of that.

Off topic but I do kind of fear how much Adv. CoC will become the norm, which arguably already has. ''Reserved for the very strongest'' my ass. What was the point in giving it to Yamato?

Definitely agree though. I think it should have been exclusive to the list of people Kaido held in highest regard.

Obviously any of the Yonko should qualify, and by extension I'd be fine with Mihawk having it. Outside of those 6, nobody else in the series should have it not including Rayleigh.

I'd argue that it would be interesting if only Shanks and Roger had it. Whitebeard and Kaido are already OP from their devil fruits so it would make sense for normal people to keep up with that with a special Haki ability only they have.

I dislike how Sanji wasn't the one to beat up that woman. It'd have made things more interesting and dark. But no, they had to do the cliche route and make Queen the responsible for the act. They need to stop hyping up things and making on-the-surface surprising scenes when it ends up being nothing at the end.

I also don't get what the point of his call with Zoro was. He claimed he might turn into something else or something along those lines. I'd have actually liked to see that, even if it was just temporary. Change up the formula for once.

It's just to show that he's willing to kill himself for his conviction.

That chapter was great. Finally we get some much needed backstory (albeit not much) on Kaido and King. Kaido looked wild at that age. The fact that he says to King that he would never betray him makes it seem even more obvious that something happened during God Valley. Maybe Rocks was the one who abandoned his crew which scarred Kaido.

Zoro is freely wielding Advanced Haoshoku now. Unless I missed something, did King ever use Haoshoku during their fight?

Also very glad that King is part of a unique race, though it looks like he's most likely from a sky island. Glad that can shut down the speculation that Sanji is a lunarian lol.

Yeah I really liked King's design as well. Despite my qualms with this arc, I think the King and Queen fights are a really good aspect of it.

This might be a stupid observation, but I wonder if there is a reason for King's tattoo taking the same shape as Garp's scar on his face. Might just be a coincidence, but you never know.

Most of the speculation I've seen assumes that Garp's relatives came from a sky Island at some point. He looked pretty similar to that Shandian chief. Then Dragon randomly decided to put some tattoo on his face as well.

Sanji isn't a lunarian, but it isn't out of the window that he could have some lineage factor being experimented on him with those genes.

It's possible that in that King and Kaido flashback, they were in the facility of MADS, which Judge Vinsmoke was a member of.

I've felt like this for a while, I hate how much of a punching bag Kaido has been for the past 40 chapters. It doesn't feel like we are fighting a Yonko threat.
