So Nami is seemingly above G3 Luffy now lol. I don't really mind it as she desperately needed a buff if she was gonna be on the pirate king's crew.

Also Yamato pretty much confirms that Luffy is likely Joyboy. Unfortunate.

Kaido also says that Wano is special. Maybe that has to do with kairoseki. Who knows.

Oda continues to show how the sense of stakes in Part 2 are an illusion with Ulti somehow enduring a full power attack from a Yonko and Usopp remaining conscious after taking her hit, but it's not as though durability having no consistency if you have plot armour wasn't already well known in OP. It also seemed pretty pointless to have Ulti get up too when all she was used for was as a benchmark for Nami's new version of the Zeus Clima Tact, which is in itself way too crazy of a boost even if Ulti was injured. First Sanji, now Nami. Seems Oda's really taking every opportunity to suddenly hax the Straw Hats for the later arcs rather than, you know, having them gradually earn that sort of power and abilities.
Not too bothered about Yamato having Haoshoku when it does seem hereditary and it seems a given anyone hoping to be top tier needs to have it, though it's still apparent how having Haoshoku at this point in the story is about as special as being a Super Saiyan in the Boo Arc.

I guess awakened ancient Zoans just have top tier durability. It's still ridiculous that she can get up when early Wano G4 Luffy was destroyed by an advanced Haoshoku attack, but that is a trait of awakened zoans as seen in Impel Down.

And yea, my issue with Haoshoku is how even the Admirals reacted to it at Marineford. Yet now it's shown to be widespread even among people without the "qualities of a king".

I guess awakened ancient Zoans just have top tier durability. It's still ridiculous that she can get up when early Wano G4 Luffy was destroyed by an advanced Haoshoku attack, but that is a trait of awakened zoans as seen in Impel Down.

The Impel Down Zoans were permanently in their forms though, whereas Ulti wasn't even using either of her Zoan forms here, so I'm not sure if she can be classed as being an awakened Zoan there. The guards were also only able to endure attacks not vastly above their level before being thoroughly KO'd (getting up from G3 Luffy's attack after enduring his G2 ones pretty well isn't vastly more impressive than what Lucci could do) as they weren't shown getting up from Luffy, Crocodile and Jinbe's combined attack until after the battle was long concluded.

I think at this point Nami probably isn't going to have Haki, or at best in the very final arc of the series. Her AP (attack power) got a HUGE buff.

Anyways, the chapter was pretty alright I guess. I wish the Ulti vs Nami fight didn't end in a 2 page scuffle.

Since Oda said this war would blow out even Marineford proportions wise, I'd expect it'd be a battle royale, but now everyone seems to have their decided battles already... Not much different from the other times it happened like in CP9 or Dressrosa, I guess. OP changes its characters and the story, but still the general outline of the arc remains as predictable and boring as ever.

Do you guys think Zolo will still take part in the fighting? Maybe offer Sanji some help against Queen?

New chapter was alright. Queens hybrid form is pretty unique with his cyborg body. Hopefully he proves to be more than the idiot we've seen to this point. The minks having this magic healing ability definitely bothers me. Should've just had Marco heal Zoro.

Who's who being some former CP9 guy is kind of laughable. It's funny that he used Lucci as some sort of benchmark for his rivalry when hes been irrelevant since part 1.

The final tidbit about Luffy's fruit is disappointing. Out of everything Luffy has going for him I hoped his fruit would've been a common one that he made the best of. Seems like even his fruit is a highly sought after one that even Shanks wanted to steal it from the government. I hope to god that it wasn't Roger or Joyboys fruit.
