I read from Chapter 1-20. On Viz.com, they offer it for free.

I think it is absolutely pathetic. It does not feel like the infamous Dragonball style. There is far too much detail, explaining and thought involved in it. It reads more like a fan faction than Dragonball.

Too much God nonsense for my liking. Really, we have to use Goku as the villain now? I know Goku isn't the villain but still you get what I'm saying.

Too many transformations. Too many names. It's gone too far.

Honestly, they tried, but it's utter nonsense.

Dragonball Multiverse is the proper format, which Super takes from as well. A universal tournament. It's Dragonball's last chance at being relevant. It has to be done right. Unfortunately, it most likely will never be. Dragonball is long dead and we need to stop digging up it's grave.

P what do you think of the art style? I think it's fucking trash even if it's unrealistic to expect Toyotaro to match Toriyama's exact style.

I really don't see the point of Toyotaro having Goku and Vegeta use SSG against Black and Zamasu, but whatever.

Toyo's removed the "using ssjb twice makes you piss weak" weakness but made it still drain far more than SSJG lol. Trying to keep the red form relevant somehow even though no one really showed noticeable strain to merely maintain SSJ Blue.

Wholeheartedly disagree. I find the manga to be far superior in almost every way.

I think the manga is more boring, with the exception of the cliffhanger when Trunks was left alone at Blacks mercy after Galu and Vegeta escaped to the past. It's a better constructed story though, and a better product.

If you're a casual fan who just enjoys watching Dragon Ball for the action and story, then the anime is good in that department. Though it's bad consistency and art style makes any hardcore fan want to vomit. While I think the manga is overall more boring with it's much shorter pacing, I think It's overall the better product when it comes to writing a consistent story and being more true to the original manga.

So dumb the whole shit with that HIT dude or whatever. All of that goes against everything that is DBZ. Literally feels fanmade. And these in depth ridiculous theories and character development points are just not DB feel at all. That shit is dumb as fuck.

From what I can tell Kaioshit is one shot fodder to Zamasu, meaning Kibito likely trained to get stronger while he remained more or less the same assuming the future Zamasu isn't massively stronger than the present version. I at least liked that Goku tried to turn Zamasu against Black, given that's similar to him talking down Fat Boo for obeying someone like Babidi, but on a whole this chapter was pretty meh.

Turning Red and then Blue for a second is ridiculous. This whole concept is so stupid. Too many fucking forms Jesus Christ. Super Saiyan Rose too? Wow.

It's not bad though, it is somewhat interesting. It's like really good fan fiction.

Ssj2, I think the art is actually pretty damn good, no complaints from me there. I just think it doesn't have the original touch that made Dragonball good. Too much god damn explaining of shit, too many power ups.

Also, it's like no one recognizes that transformations are different anymore? Like how was Super Saiyan Black fighting Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta last time? Meh.

The power structure is completely off.

Well, Super Saiyan Rose is basically his version of Super Saiyan Blue, but I get what you mean. Also, Black gained a zenkai after his ass whooping from Vegeta Blue.

Yea the zenkai thing, I mean, meh. It's cool to see some issues explained, like zenkais, but not done properly.

1) I do like the Supreme Kai actually having some usefulness. But a lot of this seems to be like that Star Wars movie. The first new one that just rehashed a New Hope.

2) Piccolo/Kami issue for Kaioshin/Beerus is meh.

3) Kaioshin having time traveling ability is bad ass.

4) A fallen God is very, very cool. Just done poorly.

5) Seeing immortality is very, very cool.

They lost me with all of these transformations though. I think there would be a better way. Super Saiyan God is bullshit in general. Pulled out of their asses. Super Saiyan 4 is actually a lot more realistic.

The villains are rehashed. Buyon being that first guy, the fake Freeza, HIT is fucking dumb. I can't approve. Especially at this level of power too. I just don't buy the logic of villains being this strong. Cell, Majin Buu are already strong enough. Freeza dominated the universe with his power, I just don't buy this shit. Too much power imo.

I do agree with the poor execution in both the anime and manga, but the arc after the Future Trunks/Black shit explains that the main universe the protagonists come from is the second-lowest ranked universe overall. So other universes at least have some justification for being way stronger naturally.

I just can't imagine any villains for Super Saiyan Gods to have to fight personally. The power has just gone too crazy. Freeza is the universal power. There shouldn't be many people much stronger than that.

Cell, ok, he is combination of all of the greatest fighters in the universe, plus a mastermind who can create infinite energy. Ok I can buy that.

Majin Buu, hmm ok this is really pushing it, but ok, primordial being that contends with Gods. Alright, I think we've gone far enough here.

The thought of Yakkon or Pocus being as strong as Freeza is disgusting as well.

Actually thought 22 was decent. The SSG stuff is odd, but oh well. I like how Kaioshin isn't a pitiful pile of garbage in this and at least attempts to attack Black/Zamas when he thought Gowas was killed.

Goku forgetting the correct seal... *sigh*

At least they look terrified of Merged Zamas, in the anime they just welcomed fighting the fusion.

The manga power scaling is a bit weird, but most of it I've been able to figure out (I think).

Fuck figuring out the anime's scaling, though.
