Agreed. From a fanboy point of view, I can see how this shit can be pretty cool. Any kind of DB at all is not bad. Bringing back Trunks, new cool ass God Beerus, Vegeta and Goku are strong again, there's a lot of cool concepts.

But damn! As a power leveler, this shit is sooooo fucked. Wouldn't even touch it. Bless you bastards who attempt this shit.

It would be interesting to see how you would power scale these characters. Give it a go.

Yeah, I really don't think it's that bad. It's fairly consistent in general, besides the SS2 Vegeta mess. But you can make head canon and just say Vegeta tapped into his rage.

So does Trunks vs Dabura confirm that Dabura is a Super Saiyan leveled opponent or Super Saiyan 2? It's kind of left ambiguous.

Probably leans more towards being Super Saiyan 2 by common sense alone, or Dabra could have just been a lot stronger. How strong you have Trunks is also a factor.

I guess it comes down to opinion. Many believe that it does simply because a Z-Sword trained Trunks couldn't beat Dabra. It makes sense because logically this Trunks would be well above the untrained Super Saiyan Gohan whom seemingly equaled Dabra.

But there's also the side that believes Future Dabra might simply be a more powerful version of Dabra similar to the Androids of the Present being superior to the Future Androids. Timeline discrepancies and shit. I dunno. Either option works.

Definitely SS2 in the Super manga. Trunks struggled with him quite a bit.

I do like how SS2 looks on Trunks in the manga. The anime didn't even change his hair lol

It's an official product, so I can see Toyotaro opting to go with the Daizenshuu's explanation over the art of those particular chapters. Alternatively, Dabra could be much stronger in the future as well given Babidi scrounged up energy for 10 years to revive Boo (meaning he must've seeked out strong guys).

Or Trunks could just be piss weak by being weaker than Gohan (Pre-Z sword) even after training with the Z-sword himself. Though that seems a little too far-fetched.

Yeah, Trunks suggests he trained but not as strongly as he did with the Z sword. So he has to be much stronger than his CG self, especially if he unlocked SSJ2 in the battle which Goku suggested he couldn't during the CG.

Dbs anime suggests Darbra is a SSJ1 tier since Goku was surprised Trunks could go SSJ2 when they fought. That was after Trunks said he beat Darbra already

Of course not, how could we know unless it was stated to be so? If Dabura isn't stated to be any different, I wouldn't assume he was. That wouldn't be logical.

Goku states SS2 Trunks is "way stronger" than SS2 Gohan from the Cell Games. This is before Trunks goes full power or whatever and matches SS3 Goku. This Trunks is not very different from when he fought Dabra, since Black shows up right after, and he has a lot of trouble beating Dabra.

I think we're actually past Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 tier for Dabra, he might be Super Saiyan 3 tier in the Super manga.
