As well as the implication that Nail wasn't the lone Warrior type Namekian.
To be fair, it has been well over a decade since then. Considering how bs power ups have been in Super and how doubtful it is no new Namekians would start being born from Muri or another elder, we could have Namekians who've made training gains enough to beat Freeza with how power creep has been throughout all of Super.
I mean, if a Kuririn who says he needs some exercise is capable of dodging an attack from a semi-relevant character like Magetta at a seemingly similar speed to Gohan or Piccolo, I wouldn't be surprised if some random Namekian villagers had made enough GAINZ to stomp any Z era character.

I hate Merus. He could have told Goku and Vegeta everything they needed to know, and they could have ended the arc there and then.
Honestly, the only way of explaining this bullshit as well as why the Galactic Patrol didn't deal with any cosmic threats in Z when Merus exists is the theory that Merus is a double-agent working for Moro, but that would be giving Toyotaro far too much credit.

He's also a King Piccolo clone in terms of motivations.
I wish. Piccolo Daimao had the additional motivation of wanting to let human society fall into chaos through their own hands, showing the brutality of human nature and, surprisingly, tying in seamlessly into his arc with how the negative influence of humanity would impact his original, unseparated self and create the evil that would become Piccolo.
Meanwhile, Moro just wants all his protein GAINZ back.

The way Vegeta shoot his Galick Gun only for Moro to absorb it reminds me the way Goku fired his KHH to Super 17.

At least Goku tried by progressively using more power and finally hitting #17 with his trump card before realising it wouldn't work. Meanwhile, Vegeta thinks he can do a damn thing to someone who could put up a fight against someone who could absorb enough power to put his SSG self at a disadvantage by firing an attack in base and expecting not to get the succ.
