Bayou is still my top arc. I think Ouki is still the most interesting character in the manga and his death has been the most impactful moment in the series for me.

I'm in the middle of the conflict between Sei, Ryo Fui and the Queen. Depending on how it ends it has potential to be my favourite arc so far.

I think so? The King has officially won but Ryo Fui has yet to receive punishment. It doesn't feel like the arc is quite over yet.

Those statements are up for contention within the Kingdom fanbase. It's possible it just means Young Shouheikun > Young Moubu, but Moubu has been improving at a far higher rate due to gaining on-hand experience on the battlefield.

Solid arc. I do wonder what would've happened had Shin not attacked Kanki. Surely he would've been promoted for killing Keisha?

I did like that the arc showcased the atrocities of war, and that despite Sei having honourable intentions, Qin is no better than any of the other states.

I'm part way through Ousen vs Riboku. Ousen just captured the 9 cities and had the refugees sent to Gyou.

Also was Riboku genuine when he asked Sei to make a truce with the 6 other kings?

Absolutely. The man wants peace more than anyone lol. He just doesn't agree with Sei's methods.
