He technically checkmated Renpa in the Sanyou war by preserving his army's strength. He was directly compared to the Qin 6 leader, Hakuki, who I would say has a tad better portrayal than Ouki.
Yeah he was compared to the six generals but was also questioned due to his motives. But I'm not disagreeing, I'm saying he still exceeded expectations despite all of that.
Yeah he came out of nowhere. Makes me wonder how strong Ousen is, or if he's actually strong at all. The fact that his men respect him so much makes me think he is a beast as well.
Ousen just forced Riboku back to Gyou. The culmination of the fight with Shin having to beat Houken was brilliantly done, though I'm not a fan of Shin being brought back from the dead. It would have been better had he simply woke up of his own accord imo.
That resurrection shit was fucking horrible. There is only like 2-3 things I find terrible in this manga and it's one of them lol. I have no clue what Hara was thinking.
Yeah Kyoukai having some secret technique to resurrect the dead is a laughable asspull. I don't care what clan she is a part of, that sort of shit has no place in a story that has so far been relatively realistic (aside from ridiculous strength feats obviously). The introduction of some magical power doesn't belong here.
Can't say I was expecting Mouten to flip out on Ousen like that lol.
With the revival of the six generals it kind of seems like Shouheikun is being wasted now. The other generals don't need to follow any of his orders and operate independently. Shouheikun is Qin's most intelligent strategist and could supposedly be stronger than Moubu.
