Something I just asked CC and thought I'd bring it up here as well. Could Silver be stronger than Murasaki based on how Goku just plays around with Murasaki but says he can't afford to let his guard down with Silver?

Yeah I formerly thought VIZ was on-point about that one until checking the anime. It's unlikely the anime would make that line up, so I think VIZ just changed the dialogue for whatever reason. VIZ ain't as bad as Funimation, ofc, but they still pull some new lines that get us confused.

Pretty dumb for professional translators. If several sources have Goku saying he needs to keep his guard up, where did the discrepancy come from?

Yeah I think for some reason they thought that line would sound better and more natural for their audience... idk. They also added up lines such as Piccolo calling Vegeta "an arrogant fool" and things like that.

Funny, I was going off that thinking you used Viz.

But if the statement doesn't exist, I guess there's no reason to assume Silver is anything special?

If it's in the anime then it's a little bit murky. For both the anime and other translations to come to that conclusion, it's hard to ignore it in favour of Viz.

Is there any reason in particular that you bothered to give a boost for the Roga Fufuken, but not the Kamehameha or any other Ki attacks?

Because I only really care about physical boosts that can be seen in hand to hand combat. Ki blasts are a waste of time to try to rationalize.

@GreatSaiyaman123 what do you think of Metallic on the new list? I feel like he should be very close to Namu's level but we never saw Goku go all out against him.

I have Metallic rivaling Jackie and 21st Goku, with Goku having somewhat improved since the Budokai. Metallic seemed to have quite and edge over initial/"match level" Goku without the Kamehameha.

I'd disagree there. Goku physically overpowered him with relative ease.
