SSJ3 Goku and SSJ2 Vegeta vs Super Buu

The supporting fighters get trounced quickly, and Goku falls after Buu's regen + health remains intact from the battle.

How strong are the Z Fighters in the OVA? Are they as strong as in M8 (First Rosat) or CG, or somewhere in between?

I can't control how someone perceives my post, but no, that was not my intent. Just making observations, same as yourself.

How strong are the Z Fighters in the OVA? Are they as strong as in M8 (First Rosat) or CG, or somewhere in between?

Wait, you have over 30k messages? I get the impression you prefer DB to Z, based on the few instances we've been in the same threads. Not too familiar with your powerscaling, but I'm sure you've thought about it at some stage like most Dragon Ball enthusiasts within forums.

How strong are the Z Fighters in the OVA? Are they as strong as in M8 (First Rosat) or CG, or somewhere in between?

Combined powers of beaten up Z Fighters seem ridiculously potent in the films. It may not be necessary to upscale them individually, but nothing prevents it since it's an alternative universe anyway.

Does Solar Flare/Taiyoken use a lot of ki? Why not spam it?

Some characters do get caught slipping with disc attacks, but perhaps being blinded beforehand would increase the urgency to evade when their opponent calls out something that implies a slicing mechanism. Would've been cool to see it work.

Does Solar Flare/Taiyoken use a lot of ki? Why not spam it?

Fighters ought to be more on-guard when faced with it repeatedly, especially with how the user loves to yell it out. It's kind of a desperation move and not a game-changer in a lot of uses.

Could Vegeta, Piccolo or Tien learn kaioken?

They should be able to. Main thing to consider upon use is the body potentially destroying itself when sustained beyond what you're accustomed to. This very well could be a risk they would knowingly take because -- like Goku -- they try to max out all resources when the opponent is that fearsome.

    XXX vs XXX

Vegito both rounds. It seemed his power was contextualized more, given that he took down someone that almost accidentally crushed the living universe. Even by Daima's end, Buu was given respect by Goku mentioning him as a motivator for achieving SSJ4. Some may also reference the Vegito >~ SSJ4...

    Has Goku ever intentionally lied?

^ Refreshing to see a viewpoint that gives Buu credit in that scenario. While Goku has a win-con against Fat Buu, his energy drain casts a cloud over him that requires precision to get the job done.

Yajirobe based on portrayal. Goku had big praise for his toughness and was impressed by his sword combat, while Goku viewed Tambourine as a fraud the whole time. Shin vs Piccolo - 25th Tenkaichi Budokai as per canon, but Piccolo decides to fight

    XXX vs XXX

Scaling from Kurama who is described as having earth-shattering power, Naruto/Sasuke would be more comparable to Saiyan Arc Goku/Vegeta, so Raditz gets handled comfortably. When looking further into the scaling, these boys were capable of fighting someone that could create dimensions containing...

Piccolo is the only one training the Next Gen.

On top of that, Super suggests that Goku is up for sparring with Goten as well, given that they tried to sneak away from Chi-Chi to train. I think there are different factors as to why we don't see it more often, but would argue it's a stretch to say it's plain selfishness. Given how far apart...

Piccolo is the only one training the Next Gen.

Is there any example you would point to that depicts selfishness on Goku or Vegeta's part? Would you say Goten, Gohan, or Trunks aren't at all responsible for not training harder or more often with others that train hard such as G and V?

Piccolo is the only one training the Next Gen.

If the criteria is Buu and onwards as is implied by OP. Bare minimum: Goku or Vegeta wouldn't be opposed to training with Gohan, and actively encourage it, pointing to his potential as a key reason. Vegeta doesn't have the connection Piccolo or Goku have with him; what more can he do without...

    Misunderstood villains are annoying

When a franchise goes on long enough, you tend to see both the pure evil and complex villains implemented, with intervals depending on writer preference. Sticking with the pure evil archetype is bound to feel like an overcorrection that would garner similar criticism eventually. I find there's...

Who should the Z fighters have learnt techniques from?

For any hope of efficiency, a raw stat booster ought to be prioritized in this show. Even the most versatile fighters end up getting in a slugfest or beam struggle at some point. Techniques lose their mojo when you're getting blitzed at every turn.

Omega Shenron's Feat Vs Super Saiyan God Goku's Feat: Another Look

The depiction appears to be that the slightest imbalance of a Goku-Beerus exchange would cause Universal destruction as a byproduct. And that was while Goku was still adjusting to his power. I'm curious how much stock can be put into presence, as opposed to judging the powerscaling in its...

    Tenshinhan (M9) vs. Future Androids?

I'll take the duo that dominated an Android Arc squad over a guy that couldn't do anything of note to Trunks. Not looking horrible in a few exchanges doesn't equate to being able to inflict damage, or have legitimate wincons. I understand that some movie characters appear more impressive than...

super era fighters vs z era fighters

As one-sided as the question sounds, it's not all that far from what DB Heroes tried experimenting with. Space-time meddling entities that like to give out power boosts can throw a wrench in standard powerscaling.
