Ox-King came to mind

Productive debate. It's good to think about relatively lesser explored topics. Common topics have their use, since they refine/sharpen views, but this is refreshing.

It ought to be understood that their target takes precedence over short-term moments of surprise. Given that, prior to that sequence, Goku picked up on the basic idea of: cut these absorption objects to reduce the host's power, then that logic would follow suit with the Buu they found. The...

If we know Buu doesn't serve another purpose, wouldn't Goku? The only association he had with him was battle. I don't push back on the idea that danger would linger regardless. However, two things can be true. The canon situation being dangerous, and the concept you propose being even more...

What purpose would Buu serve besides power? Buu can turn anyone on the planet into a snack. And if the other Buu was just a bother, he could kill him. At least with the Z group -- particularly the weak ones or non-fighters -- it can be said that Buu wants to cause fear and panic. Seems pointless...

The boys, Gohan and Piccolo -- who influenced Buu's power -- being in those compartments would be enough to conclude that any strong being caught up in them is going to act as a power source. I claimed that Goku understood that Buu's power was changing - is that something you push back on? It's...

Kid Buu, being the original, was not spawned from separate Buu's coming together to produce him, so I don't see why he would be part of an Evil Buu/Good Buu equation. What we do know is Kid Buu > Evil Buu, what we also know is that Kid Buu didn't cause Evil Buu; Fat Buu did. In terms of why Buu...

Good Buu had an internal presence in Super Buu. Where was Evil Buu to initiate a supposed mix up?

@ahill1 Wouldn't any confusion be cleared by the time Mr Buu fought Kid Buu? Like you mentioned, Vegeta explained Buu's split and amalgamation while in Buu's insides.

The bulk of your response refers to your thoughts on Z even though I was analysing GT. When you say 'not really', what part of what I said do you disagree with? In response to your GT point; I don't see the connection. Is a show incapable of mediocrity because there's a character that's...

The Buu that got absorbed was a vessel that supplies power. Why would power be distributed to the absorbed entity?

I haven't come across anything that supports them being equivalent strength. Is there something from the manga that you'd say is worth re-analyzing on the topic?

This reinforces how much pull Goku has to viewers, especially with the young audience. Personally don't care for the Super Saiyan Pan concept, but the damsel in distress + protagonist heroism they wanted to maintain could've still worked since she she'd scale below SSJ Goku, a tiny fraction of...

Goku cockily reverts to base. Little does he know that Kibito has the latest upgrade of Sorbet's laser...

Any unique quality of Krillin & Gohan's relationship is mainly -- if not wholly -- a Namek Saga phenomenon. At the core, every earthling Z Fighter wants the best for Gohan and the team overall; like Krillin, they'd try to keep him stable whenever rage would ruin covert tactics, and ensure he...

Tiencha. Tien alone vs Krillin is interesting to me. Portrayal would suggest Krillin, but I've noticed that -- as the series progressed -- Tien only ever gets mesmerized by Super Saiyan tier strength, or whenever an above-SSJ antagonist starts showing off more of their power. It also seems that...

I'd wager he could, but there'd just be no upside to it. Suppression is an excellent resource for fodder, but very risky against someone that can compete with you and requires a disciplined strategy to overcome.

From the relatively small pool of characters that can carry out such a procedure, it appears as though Old Kai's potential unlock was supposed to be as good as it gets for Gohan. Later material would indicate the way Ultimate state functions got neglected. That, in combination with the demand...

It was just mild trash talk for hype & drama. He got fired up immediately after as if he was the one that had to prove himself.

To be fair, Krillin's hax-y technique isn't being thrown in-character realistically. Just due to the nature of the attack and who he's fighting. He has a chance with morals-off, but it's still unclear IMO.
