Idk what Oda is trying to do with giving Shiryu those powers. I feel like even basic observation Haki would render it a useless ability. Though maybe an awakening could negate that somehow.

Got up to episode 6 last night. It's painful having to sit through boring exposition dumps and just terrible plot progression per episode. I liked episode 6 though. Minotaur should have joined the group lol.

Yeah I agree, it's just unusual as far as One Piece arcs go. Shamrock simply leaving is a bit odd. I guess he's not the main villain. Robin, Chopper, and Franky are basically right next door so hopefully they get some shine.

Each chapter that comes out makes me more confused on the trajectory of this arc.
