I'm pretty sure the design will remain the same, just with adult proportions when Galu is reverted to an adult.

Frankly I don't think we'll see an adult version until a later Super arc. There's no way Super Saiyan 4's popularity will let it remain a Daima exclusive.

The grade nomeclature makes more sense here than for the golden SSJ forms. There’s a linear evolution of the form, while SSJ Grade 2 and 3 felt like a separate branch from Grades 4 and 5.

Well, Grades 4 and 5 were never named such in the actual series. It's just that they were discovered after the muscled grade forms, so that History of Trunks guidebook or whatever declared them such. The Perfect File does a similar thing by stating that SSJ4 isn't part of the normal Super Saiyan line consisting of the golden-haired forms and just gets called the 4th form out of convenience.

Also I honestly think this form was never intended to be a precursor to GT's form, but took inspiration from LBSSJ4 and so has that magenta tint (in this case more like hair dye) and the faint white glow when the aura is down.

Color balance is definitely better when the hair is black. But the pink/red fur is still lame; it should be brown or golden fur.

I'm not a fan of those simian forearms, either. I see they wanted to make the form look more primate, but nah, too gimmicky.

It would be best that the hair be a different color/shade than the fur.

If they really wanted the transformation to be all red, then the hair should have been a lighter red than the fur.

Oh, it 100% is. At least in regards to the official continuity. Daima is the new canon. DBS is a great side story though, definitely better than GT.

AT no doubt came back to take DBS out with a stroke of the pen before he died. Genius level move!

Ah, but there's still the original timeline. The MAIN timeline. DBS clearly ain't it. All DB is in some sort of multiverse, that's fine. Hence the term, side story. DBS is currently the best side story in the game, so that's something to hang your hat on at least!
