Senzus only fill up your appetite for 10 days (or less for Saiyans and gluttonous characters such as Yajirobe) as well as heal physical wounds/restore Ki. That's not really the same as alleviating the mental stress of sleep deprivation.

Not necessarily. Have you pulled an all-nighter before? Think about the next day if you take caffeine. Yes it definitely perks you up and helps you stay awake, but you will still feel exhausted mentally and wish for sleep. I bet the senzu is the same.

Btw, seems like that statement about Ginyu Tokusentai being a level Kuririn could never reach is a Vizism:

I'd find it odd if he wasn't at least somewhat proficient in both. If he is able to teach someone how to use those techniques, he'd have to at least have some ability to use them.

Based on the Steve Simmons translation for the anime, the Kaio-ken is something he "could only dream of", which lines up with what's noted about its users in the guidebooks. It's something he knows the fundamentals of how to reach, but isn't capable of getting there himself. I see no reason why he'd be unable to use the Genki Dama though.

Kaio is older than Freeza though, and even a jobber like Kaioshin knew how strong Freeza was.

Whether or not he knew about his transformations is debatable, but I don't see why he would withhold that information if he knew.
