Goku handled Yakon in base just fine? Why does Gohan want to step in?

Even disregarding the bullshit writing, it's made to seem like he's weaker than the Saiyans. There's even a title page of him looking bewildered while the Base Saiyans look confident.

All the "implications" that Kaioshin is weaker than base are purely subjective, which is why I don't follow that stance anymore. It doesn't hold as much weight as a direct statement.

There's more than one way to explain the Declaration of Piccolo on Kaioshin being stronger than himself:

1) Piccolo overestimated Kaioshin by his status, like Vegeta did;

2) Piccolo didn't want to tell anyone about the Kaioshin status since it was just a suspicion of you and he wanted to confirm with kaioshin first. Great observation from Outer Z.

Now is nonsense ( at least for me ) Kaioshin say Vegeta base exceeded all their expectations if he were several times stronger than Vegeta base, what would be the case if he were stronger than Piccolo.

Yakon never landed a hit, he almost landed one by surprise. Other than that, even in the dark, Goku is still able to avoid all of Yakon's attacks and even land a direct hit to the face. So yes, it appears that Goku wasn't having much trouble with Yakon.

Kaioshin knew his power could not be used to resurrect Boo? If he knew, so why didn't he say something like this: "Let me finish Yakon alone, since my energy cannot be used", but not ... instead he asks for help to other Saiyans. This seems to be more reckless than cautious to me.

I don't see it being easy. Goku has a slight power advantage, allowing him to dodge Yakon. He almost got cut in half at one point.

What's the point in even using the light if he said a few pages back that he didn't need it? Why is Gohan worried after Goku reverts to Base?

It's still the same; he realized who HE WAS, not HOW POWERFUL HE WAS.

He almost got cut in half because Yakon unexpectedly jumped out at him before he was aware the fight had even started. That obviously would not happen again because he was on guard after that.

Because it's just a demonstration. How are you arguing that Goku needed Super Saiyan when the feats show Goku dodging all of Yakon's attacks and being the only one of the two to actually land a direct hit?
