Galu saying he just wanted to fight the strongest guys is hilarious when his reasons for fighting the Saiyans were to protect earth and avenge his comrades. While he made it clear later on that he wanted to fight Vegeta again, his motivation usually came from stopping an evil threat. DBS Galu is a disgrace and I can't believe Toriyama allows this to continue.

>Vegeta spends most of arc training on Yadrat for Spirit Control.
>Get a HUGE power up, spend a good chunk of time hyping it up as the shit.
>Vegeta's going to get a Moro killer technique.
>Ohshit.png.
>Vegeta finally comes, technique is known as Spirit Fission.
>Can split up fusions/Adsorptions and remove all stolen energy from a foe.
>It's such a broken and OP power!
>He's also like 10x stronger.
>Moro adsorbs an android and just one shots him.

To be fair, Moro states that he absorbed the copy of his combat abilities in 73, which would be Moro's own power and thus not be affected by Spirit Fission.
Still an asspull that Moro was had such contingency plans when his entire characterisation thus far has been "hurr durr you can't beat me!" Either be a calculating mastermind or a generic arrogant bad guy. Toyotaro clearly can't make a character both without it being contrived due to a lack of set-up.

I think that would still fall under Vegeta's ability. Fusion and adsorption were both explicitly stated to be affected by Spirit Fission and Moro did literally eat android 73. Toyo's just a hack.

Moro was basically taking back what was his though, so I can see why it'd be considered an exception. Toyo's execution of the idea was rushed and dumb though, I agree.

Wait, why did it transform Moro then? Shouldn't he look the same?

Logically it should, but Tracetaro probably didn't want to draw Moro's derpy prime appearance anymore and wanted to do something different :troll.
Of course, he couldn't do something different that makes sense, like ending this dumpster fire of an arc.

I miss Moro's original design. It had that wizard-like vibe that set him apart from so many villains. It wasn't revolutionary by any means, but at least it was an actually decent design...that Toyotaro discarded it after a few chapters for what we have now.

:wtf

Even Moro's actual magic gets less and less use in favor of the typical brute force. He literally only used it against Vegeta when he was backed into a corner.

If there is one silver lining, it's #18's line summing up Vegeta's role:

Also, why is no one mentioning the fact that this dude powered up and changed his appearance from literally eating a whole machine. I guess I've seen crazier shit in anime, but still.

I mean, Cell did power up from swallowing two cyborgs through a different way. Yeah, they were designed specifically for it, but I wouldn't say it's out of the question for such a sophisticated artificial fighter as 73 to be utilised as such a power source.

On a different topic, does anyone else think Vegeta's Spirit Fission will be used to tie up the loose end of Boo now having Dai Kaioshin's memory and personality? Seems like the only effective way for Boo's characterisation in the end of Z to make sense without asspulls like amnesia. I imagine it'll be explained that Boo can exist normally without Dai Kaioshin due to having become naturally attuned to his fat form, with Dai Kaioshin going back to his former position on the Kaioshinkai.
